Does God hear the prayers of or even care about Christians who have bad habits they can't break?
My God does. It requires self examination. It is not a group effort. My prayers are answered because I believe they will be, regardless of the faults that I have. The Power works for those who trust it. No other condition is required.
You also need " True Faith" ......and place God 1st in your life...
God is always there for us when we need Him, it is us who tend to forget about Him. Sometimes we only pray or think about God when we are in need of Him but I believe God is always looking after us no matter what bad habit we have developed.
God listens to every Christian's prayers and he cares about everyone regardless of their religion.
I wonder. I hope He cares. I think He does, and He knows what is best for us, so sometimes He has to tell us no. We might not like it, but we need to trust that it is for our own good.
Yes He listens and He will give you strength to overcome them if you ask. But you have to be willing to do whatever is necessary to get rid of them. the old free (self) will that make you want to keep them and hide them.
If you continually pick them back up then you have a hidden desire to keep them that you must destory. Cut the root in other words.
He wants us to be pure and Holy and died that we can be. BUT we have to do our part, contrary to what some teach we have a part to do also.
God is omnipresent. Even the very hair on your head is numbered and not even a leaf falls without our Father in Heaven knowing. God is within your heart. He walks with you, talks to you and sleeps with you. So what do you think? What is His purpose for this oneness?
God is Love, so He can't help but care. That's His nature.
But He wants us to become like Him. That means we need to take responsibility for our situation. We need to pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps. We can't do it, but the intention opens the door to God and He listens.
God hears all prayers and He answers them instantly and in the affirmative. The problem is, most people don't know what they're asking for. If you have fear when you ask for rescue, then you will receive more reason for fear. The asking is in the feeling (faith), not in the words (intellectual thoughts).
But more, we need to care for the needs of others. When we do that, we are becoming more like God. What Christ said about loving others as yourself is what the Sages of old have said for more than 3,000 years.
The bad habits some suffer are the challenge they need to face. But now, there is a road map to overcome all such obstacles.
The ones who wrote the Bible -- Kabbalists -- have now made their secret wisdom available to the general public.

I have read a number of views here from both Atheists and Believers especially with regards to starving children in Africa. First of all let me start by saying that I am African, born, bred and raised in Africa. When we speak about Africa and its problems you must understand that God has nothing to...

Generally, Christians and Jews seem to regard Muslims as too out of the ordinary yet, they seem more God-fearing. Among other things, they seem more thankful to "Allah" by praying morning and evening, and value modesty.
