   What is your particular religion's view on sexuality?
   
   Be it homosexuality, sex outside of marriage, adultery etc. What does your religion, and religious text, speak of in regards to these? Please also provide the religious text/verse/chapter etc where these things can be found...I'm genuinely curious (and will not tolerate anyone being nasty to another re: their answer - I am genuinely wanting to know)

   My God is the great purple elephant god named Fluffybutt. We don't really have verses per se, uh, we kind of make it up as we go, and when I say we, I actually mean just me, but he, who is sometimes a she, and is sometimes both, and is sometimes neither, says that if it makes you happy and it is healthy for all parties involved, than the more the better.

   The religion I adhere to is very much about mind your own business unless it concerns you - that's kind of its Golden Rule.  I have done my mission work by instilling this rule into my children from a young age, so that they grow up adhering to the rule of the one "true" religion   Obviously, it will be my religion since I am in the position of authority and I can never be wrong.
   
   To do any less than force my children to adhere to my religion would not make me hypocritical enough - so I am sure to tell them every day that they must obey my rule without question. After all - our religion demands it.
   
   It wasn't always this way of course. I was raised in the Catholic church, where I do not remember even once discussing anyone's sexuality, because despite being religious, my own family had the good grace to understand that other peoples bedrooms were not their concern. 
   
   I think religion is a pretty wrapping paper people use to justify hate for people they don't understand - been doing it since the beginning of time, but same people rarely follow ALL the rules of those holy books they claim as the written word of God.  I guess it's because God is a little moody throughout the various chapters and can't seem to make up his mind.  Own slaves, slavery is wrong. Women are property, many wives, don't cheat on your wife - sacrifice your child - wait, no stop don't do that..
   
   That God was too confusing for my feeble mind so I made up my own religion - it's called "live and let live" or something like that. That other God just became too toxic in my life and I had to let go and surround myself with more like minds .

   My "religion" is called logic.
   
   Surprisingly, it allows me to understand very simple concepts. Example, 2 men who lovey dovey each other decide they want to sleep together in California.
   
   Does that affect me, a resident of Florida, in the slightest? Does it even affect their next door neighbors? Nope, end of story.
   
   Logic is such a swell thing that sadly all do not embrace.

   Basically we believe that marriage is between one man and one woman.
   Man and woman are equal.
   No sex outside of marriage.
   Divorce is allowed, but only for a very good reason.

   Great question and i agree wholeheartedly with CristianS and Peeples. 
   What anyone does in the privacy of their homes is none of anyone else's business. 
   And no religion, or government,  has the right to dictate or mandate sexual "values" on anyone else.  I too was brought up Catholic and abandoned it when i reached an age of reasoning.  Logic and common sense always prevails over religious beliefs when it comes to the sex lives, or love lives, of others.

   Buddhism is actually non-opinionated when it comes to sexuality. It does not have any parts that ever speak out against same-sex relationships. My parents are Buddhist and Hindu. Hindu is kind of interesting. There are arranged marriages in many parts of Asia. I was raised around lots of Christians, so I see many sides to spiritual beliefs. Nothing beats self belief.
   
   Religions do have some benefits. They teach us some good things, and some good morals. But some controversial parts of religious belief have so angered and challenged believers that many have turned away from their respective church. The marriage question has caught lots of organised religions out. They may not adapt their doctrines, and that will either be a good or a bad thing. But people want to be free and not oppressed. If religion becomes another shackle to them, people will make do without it. People don't like contradiction.
   
   I did not realise that Buddhism is in no way biased against gay people until I was in my teens.
   
   Terms like "friends with benefits", "casual sex", or "open relationship" do not exist in religious texts. Looking for supreme wisdom on sexuality in religious books that are centuries or millennia old might be a challenge for many.
   
   Everyone can and should discover their own belief and not be pushed towards some thing that they may later on rebel against.
