What are the best dates ideas?

Best date ideas that are cheap and fun.

Honestly, I think the answer depends on where you live and your interests.

I live in Florida, so the usual best/cheap date idea is a walk on the beach at sunset. Other options generally include parks and coffee shops.

I like Amanda's answer about it depending on where you live and what interests you. I'd add that it also depends on what interests your date. The date will be a failure if the person you're with is hating every minute of it.

cheap and fun, a park, then a bite to eat ..... movies bite to eat. sports game and a bite to eat ...........whatever you do, its not gonna be free.

You can get creative and have a junk food picnic outside. (buy cheap junk food for like $30) and go to a park or your house/apartment

You can also prepare a romantic dinner with food you made yourself. Rent dvds, break out ur wii or playstation and BOOM ..... CHEAP AF DATE!!!

Many options depending on the route your looking to go. If your looking for romantic find a quiet remote area with some amazing scenery. If your looking to really enthrall the other half i would suggest finding something interactive that could be done together. Hedge mazes or mirror mazes are a good example. Doing a ghost tour together, walking a museum anything in the spur of the moment that could be considered romantic yet adventurous. Make things interesting and don't settle for the same old routine of dinner and a movie. Granted that's always an easy ice breaker for a first date to get to know one another. Don't settle for less if you really want to shock and awe the other person, find what they like to do and work around that. An if your content and sure make it a random adventure don't ask her what she would like to do but surprise her.

I think it depends on where you are situated. I met my soulmate on the beach by intentionally hitting her with a frisbee. What fun, indeed.
After that we orchestrated great dates by walking on the beach, chatting about everything, swimming to cool-down and playing a wee-bit, if I may add  this seemed ideal, quite simply because our focus was on each other, it offered ocean when needed, it was healthy, it was somewhat public so it enabled me not to be as tempted to cross-over that line that later became so apparent to me as we raised 3 beautiful daughters. We were not distracted away from each other during these walks so we really got to know each other quite deeply. Thus, despite my faults I didn't scare her away and man oh man did I have beauty to look at.
