   It depends on how you broke up and how the two women feel. To me, I would never want my friend to date one of my ex's because it will hurt our friendship. You may come between two really close friends and if you can live with that, its on you! I personally will answer this Q with a N-O.

   Depends.  Sometimes exes get jealous, even if they say they have no problem with it.  Just depends on how crazy she was about you and how bad the break-up was, and how close she is to her friend, and if she's still friends with you after breaking up.  Best thing to do would be for all three of you to sit down and discuss each of your feelings on the matter.  If there is any chance it would cause a problem with the ex, you're probably better off steering clear.

   I agree with lovelife08 and ii3rittles. i would soo not consider it okay to date an ex-girlfriends friend. It's a rule. And you would probably hurt the ex's feelings. Maybe you should just stay friends.

   No, it's not cool.  You'd be starting out under complicated circumstances too.  Better to look elsewhere for a date.

   All of you have given great answers. Thank you. I've always stayed friends with my exes. I believe that love is eternal. Even if the relationship didn't work, you don't stop caring for that person. In this specific case, there has been years to heal. Both of us moved on and my ex is now happily married with children. I sometimes think of her friend and think, "Is she the one that got away?". Still the ex barrier has kept me from pursing. Thank you all again for such insightful comments.

   I'm not sure you would want to, you know how women like to chat about their fellows when they gather, so...wouldn't your ex be telling all your little secrets to your new gal. Seems to me that would make for too much "Days Of Our Lives" drama, but I guess you would need to sit down and talk with your ex and see how she feels about it. Good luck! ...W
