Have you ever seen a ghost?

Have you ever had the feeling that you're not alone yet knowing no one is there: seen something you know is not of the living world? Felt a shiver run down your spine; sensed a spirit; seen a ghost?

No. I do not believe in such things. But, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.

My mother's side of the family apparently has a history with ghosts and spirits etc. They call it the Heebie jeebies oddly enough.
Can't say I particularly believe in them though, at least not in the traditional "spooky gonna haunt you/tell me my future" sense.

Have you been told any stories?

A guy would drink some liquor the supposed ghost liked. After the ghost left his body, there wouldn't be a trace of liquor on his breath. Was told that last week actually.

I love this, it made me smile. Keep these tales; you will never know when you might decide you know exactly what to do with them smile

I have never seen a ghost, nor have I heard of a convincing case of anyone else seeing a ghost. I find the "shadow people" phenomenon amongst some people's belief, interesting though.

Shadow people are one of those things that really caught my attention in my work. Very interesting to say the least and truthfully one of those events that really put you in a state of shock.

I'm going to have to read up on the shadow people. Thank you PhoenixV.

I am an active paranormal investigator so my answer might be expected, lol. In my years (since 1996) of doing what I do I have only seen maybe 3 ghost with my own eyes. I have taken pictures of what I believe to be ghosts but like I mentioned as far as seeing with my own eyes only 2 or 3.

I haven't personally, though I've had strange experiences that others might attribute to ghosts.

My mom is a big believer in spirits, though, and she claims to have had some experiences. The day my grandma (my dad's mom) died she said she felt my dad's spirit come see her. A few hours later my aunt called to tell her that she had passed away. Then she said "and it's the strangest thing... I felt Jack (my dad) come see me right around the time she died." My mom was shocked and said she felt the same thing, and sure enough, they both felt my dad with them within minutes of each other, minutes before my grandma passed away.

The fact your Dad's spirit was there for both of them is inspiring. It presents the idea of his love and care still being with them, even after death. I like this story, it brings dept to the idea of spirits: for those we've loved and lost.

In Japan there are suicide spots and they are known to attract negative spirits... Ive never actually seen any but I cannot say that I can go to those places and not get freaked out.  But my policy in general is to not disbelief in anything-  I'm not a believer but neither do I disbelieve smile. What about you?  Have you seen stuff?

Years ago I served a man a beer, he left his money on the counter, we chatted for a bit, later I asked one of the local drinkers if they knew him. Apparently I was the only one who saw him. His description fitted a local dead (for years) war pilot.

I have had no experiences with ghosts/spirits; although, my grandfather had an experience and I would trust him and his observations with my life. I certainly believe him. He was a sea captain, (trader of goods) whom resided in a small town on the Fundy (Bay of Fundy). He was traveling from The village of Black Rock to Harborville along the coastal trail with two others in his vehicle when he was waved down by a spirit in human form whom looked like his ship's cook. The spirit had a lantern and did not speak. What is also interesting, is the location where he was, was where the vessel indeed sank. My grandfather carried on not thinking too much of it; when they got to Harborville, he found out that his schooner had left dock and was missing. He instinctively knew where it was...

That is quite a story. I can't imagine what your grandfather thought when his schooner was gone. I'm not surprised he shared this with you, I can almost invision him standing on the dock. Make sure you keep his experience alive and thriving.
