   Nope, and I'm not even sure it will have an effect on the majority of westerners' thinking because choosing to disassociate themselves from what is obvious by choosing to believe what lets them happily emote is the rule of the day, a blindness that comes from choosing to believe a variety lies.
   
   For instance, we hear that America is indispensable from someone who both by past writings and speeches, and by recent actions from a position of power, clearly does not believe that she is indispensable, and worse yet, has said that it needs to be changed on a fundamental level.
   
   Yet, much of the population chooses to ignore what was already declared and displayed. That keeps them from being able to ask appropriate questions, such as why the statement would be made by someone who does not feel that this nation is indispensable. 
   
   Moreover, related questions could be asked. Why make that statement when history has proven the lack of wisdom in saying such a thing?  Why make that statement in the face of our Founders' warnings re the topic?  What else is at the root of the thinking behind that statement?
   
   No, in spite of the disgust people generally feel about the violent executions, societal responses to the violence of beheadings do not indicate change is on the horizon.  People are not seeking truth because it's easier to believe what makes them feel good--again, lessons not learned from history's examples.
   
   To be fair, many people feel powerless and hopeless in the face of what is being done to our county by leadership that is a combination of weak, deceived, rife with under-the-table agendas, and set to protect their own political class, and sadly, they don't know how to survive their feelings much less how best to respond to what is happening.

      RT--Sadly, you are absolutely correct. Our government or the Western World has no intention of stopping Islam. Whatever action is taken, is taken minimally to placate any outrage and to further promote the idea of American ineffectiveness.

      Truthfully, I do not believe that the western world has the power to stop it.  It's been around rather a long time.  However, I do think that embracing or giving over to it, whether it is avoidable or not, is a huge problem.

   One might think that it would be a rallying point and a point of principle, but, as is noted by Obama, the pseudo-science of Climate Change, is the greatest threat to the planet. Tokenism has been the response and even at that, many people feel that we are over reacting.
   Estimates on the size of ISIS has gone from 30,000 to possibly 50,000 + in  less then a month. We will, however train 5,000 moderate doctors, lawyers and such to be combat ready in a year.
   Acts of Islamic terrorism here in the US are identified as workplace violence. Warnings by the Russians, with reference to the Boston Bombings, were ignored. One, I think, has to begin to ask the question, exactly who is the enemy?

   "Muslim" shouldn't be associated with this.  There are millions of peaceful Muslims in the world, with some stating this isn't the Muslim way.
   
   These are terrorists and they will always be around.  Race, religion, etc. won't matter.
