   Many people have a stressful workday at their job. Most likely their family life (with children) is also time consuming. The result is then "to be impatient" in general.
   Well they are busy. So it might surprise you when I suggest that they take up more activities. But I suggest that they begin gardening, such as tomato growing.
   Tomato growing will calm them and make them less impatient.

      You are right there askformore, life is becoming so fast that before we know it, it is Christmas time again. Make us wonder where the time goes.

   We live in a fast paced, fast forward, real-time, instant gratification, on-demand society these days.  Everything seems  to be 'faster, higher, better, quicker, and/or stronger'.  Thus, we have come to expect quicker service, snap decisions, and immediate results. 
   
   These unrealistic expectations set us and others up for failure and disappointment.  When our fast food isn't fast enough; the red light is too long; and Friday can't get here fast enough, we become disillusioned, disappointed, angry, anxious, and impatient.
   
   I always chuckle at the speeding driver who passes me at 80 mph only to wind up right in front of me at the red light.  Really, Mario Andretti wannabe? 
   
   It's time to slow it down just a little, live in the moment and breathe!

      Thank you for your answer Melodywright, everyone seems to be catching up with the time. Everyone seems to be living for tomorrow instead of today.

      I agree, liesl5858.  Living for today is much more rewarding.  Fully living in the moment, being mindful, and 'tuning in' to the present actually helps us move forward in a more productive and meaningful way.
