How true is the whole phenomenon of reincarnation?

My little cousin, when he was 4, used to keep repeating how he and his parents were murdered by his grand father and fled with their money. It was all kinda creepy. By the time he was 6 he stopped saying all those things.

    Still keep us puzzled.

I would look for a logical explanation rather than believe in the supernatural. Perhaps he was merely repeating a story that he had heard. Possibly the interest that was generated in those around him by his remarks caused him to keep saying it.

I definitely believe reincarnation could exist. I don't think it will ever be proven any more than any other belief though, I guess I just like to believe in the possibility of reincarnation.

When I was a kid, I lived in pretty scary circumstances, which led me to be terrified of a lot of things, especially death. I would beg God to take care of me and not let me die for a long, long time or anyone I needed. I believe I did get "supernatural" answers, if you call God supernatural, and I don't mean churchy God, (my dad was an ordained minister) I got pictures in my head, and even at the age of 5 and 6 I understood them. I saw a candle (in my mind) burning down just to the bottom, but instead of going out, the flame lit another candle. on and on, and on. This doesn't prove reincarnation, but thats what it meant to me then. And it still makes sense, that we could be sent back to earth if we dont complete our missions and don't learn the things we were meant to, and implement them. On the practical side this would keep "Heaven" from being too crowded, if people kept being recycled. The zodiac is also all about reincarnation. Aquarius is both birth and death, the next one is a baby, on to Capricorn, who is a very old cranky guy but wise. I think there are levels of paradise, this also came into my head. One more thing, just as you cannot destroy earthy energy, you really can't destroy spiritual energy of the soul. God does love us. And don't judge The Creator and his Son by hypocritical religious people who are filled with hate, anger, and judgement. Those people are putting a big wedge between The Creator and his much loved Children. Don't fear

Reincarnation isn't. Time is. While time travel isn't possible physically, it is possible mentally. Deja Vu is one such occurence that strongly suggests that the present we live in, can sometimes overlap with the future that we are going to live.
Either that or your cousin might have had a scary af dream.
I had one when I was 7. It was a 3 minute horror story which I just can't seem to forget:
I went to the roof of my apartment in the dead of night and a giant head emerged with hair like spaggheti, face like a colossal bulbous tumour and eyes like coconuts. He didn't hurt me. Just asked a question, which boomed so loud it shook the entire building. "WHY DIDN'T YOU GET YOUR HAIRCUT?" he asked.
    I woke up pissing myself.

Reincarnation is a type of belief in the afterlife; and any belief in the afterlife cannot be categorically proven to be false or true, hence it is called a faith. Did God make a finite number of souls that are each given one-chance at life? OR did God make a finite number of souls given multiple opportunities at life? OR does God make an infinite number of souls that will continue to live in this universe forever in a never-ending cycle? The answer depends on the religion you follow, and ultimate knowledge of such things belongs to God alone.
