How would  you deal with jealousy?

Jealousy affects everyone at some point in their lives. I  discovered how some people can be jealous toward my success. How would deal with such  people?

Yes, Devaki and vice versa. We can also be guilty of same even without knowing! After 33 years of daily spiritual practices, I still feel this, although I will say that there are different levels or degrees. It seems a very common one in the workforce, but it needn't be there. Could be we covet our friends husband, wife or lover; their house or car; their sweet and gentle nature or their exuberance ....the list is endless.

Devaki the answer is the same. With all things, we simply throw onto them the Light of Consciousness. There is no other way. If you are in a dark tunnel, or travelling on a dark winters night, what will illumine you is the Light. You can also have a sudden awakening and see things a different way, but you will find that even this comes from Spirit.

Rely on a Higher Entity, and all will eventually be well. Have patience.

And thank you, Devika. If you read closely - and I'm sure you have - God-men come time and time again, saying the same thing in different ways.Peace is impossible without the Light of God.

My first reaction to your question Devika, was 'dealing with it before it happens.' Practically, jealousy as a 'feeling' is strange to me, because at early point of my life I read in the book of all wisdom 'jealousy is cruel as the grave'. Loving life in its fulness, firstly I have observed impact of jealousy in the "neighborhood "- the people who became victim of its devastation objectively or subjectively and I didn't like it at all. After that I never allowed that spiritual force to take grip over me, choosing to be free of it and let it go if other people wanted to entertain themselves with its cruelty.

It is a negative force, very much like a naked knife. It will stab the jealous as well as others. It becomes a spiritual force only in the sense that ultimately all are the work of the Divine. Put another way, God is the only Doer.
