Is it wrong to date your ex's friend?

I have recently called things off with my fiance, and me and his friend have started to hit it off.  I have always talked to his friend on a friend level and we even did double dates.  Now that we both are single we are trying to see where this is going.  It is wrong to do this?

    Life is a (personal) journey!
Unless you were cheating with your fiancé's friend or had your eye on him which was the impetus for calling off the wedding then it's probably not wrong. Having said that your ex is likely to believe you two always had a thing for one another and may have been cheating.
You can't live your life worried about what an (ex) thinks of you!
On the other hand the friend of your ex fiancé has to decide if being with you is worth the risk of losing a friend.
If it were the other way around and {your ex broke up with you} and started dating one of your friends would you consider it "wrong" or would you think maybe she might be the "right one" for him?
Could you still be friends with her? Would you ever feel comfortable being in the same room with them at a party or public function?
It's one thing to dump someone and date your ex's friend and another to (be the one who got dumped) only to learn your ex is now dating (your) friend.
Ultimately it really depends on how smoothly the breakup went.
Was there a mutual agreement the relationship had run it's course?

I do not feel it is wrong, it is disrespectful to your ex if he had deep feelings for you.

Many people are mad at their ex and do not care if they feel respected.

My answer would be if it is acceptable in your conscience, then go for it.

No, there is nothing wrong with that. You both are single.
