How do you feel about transgender/genderqueer people? Do you believe God accepts them?

God loves everyone.  He loved us so much that He sent His own son to die for our sins so that we may spend eternity with Him.  However, God does not accept sin.  In God's eyes, transgenderism is sin.  God does not make mistakes.  He makes you the gender you are for a reason.  Your chromosome make up determines your gender.  Your gender has nothing to do with how you feel inside.  Man made up all the "gender" terms.  God just made up "male" and "female."  He made US male and female.  Yes, there are some species that are different.  People born with both body parts are a rarity.

Think of it this way.  If you were born a man, but you want to live as a woman, you date men.  Man might see you as you want to see yourself: a woman.  However, God sees you as a man, and if you are dating a man, you are practicing homosexuality, which is a sin.

God loves the sinner, but he hates the sin.  In the end, if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and you do not repent, He will not accept you into heaven.  He will not accept you as you are.  God is loving, but He will not tolerate sin.  His ways are not our ways.  Just because man wants to accept you as a transgender does not mean God will comply.  God does not change.

I go by what it says in the bible and what I just told you.  I believe transgenderism is a mental illness.

"God loves the sinner, but he hates the sin."
Scripture says otherwise. God doesn't hate the definition of sin but the sin, and that is done by a person, they are one and the same. "Sin" is the description of what it is that God hates.

rich-re- read the next to last paragraph I see her clarifying it there, she says   "if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and you do not repent, He will not accept you into heaven. He will not accept you as you are.  did I miss it?

I agree with her except for the often made statement
"God loves the sinner but hates the sin" I don't think they are separable. I just think the catch phrase is over used. It is not in scripture but quoted as it is.

Lolita-- good scriptural answer.   Who cares what you or I or any other person thinks?   This is a Christian forum and all that matters is what does God thing.    Nice work

The two questions you ask (in a Christian forum) to me are a good example why those that study end times are saying the return of Christ is REALLY getting close. Personally my days go much smother if I don’t worry about what is happening tomorrow or next month. I recall when reading the scriptures that Paul, a disciple of Christ wrote many warnings to the disciples Christ. The biggest warning, said many ways, was that many were going to come along and change what was preached by Christ, Paul, Peter, James, John, Luke etc. I can affirm that those warnings, prophetic in nature are in fact going on right now in the body of Christ.
The fact that people in the body of Christ have evolved to think their thoughts are equal to or could replace Gods words are because of all the false teachers that have corrupted the hearts and minds believers. It is almost humorous if not for being sad that people that follow Christ believe they can accept something that God has forbidden. Followers of Christ have become followers of whatever it takes to get along, as long as what is happening can be cloaked in love then all is well with their souls.
How do I feel about the LGBT people? It really doesn’t matter, I am not a hateful person, I do not intentionally treat anyone as a sub human being. That said I will not be moved from what God has to say about a sinful lifestyle.
The catch phrase “God loves the sinner but hates the sin” was invented by the lukewarm believers that have allowed false teachings to enter their heads and hearts. The phrase popped up when the LGBT movement in the religious churches started rolling. It is a non committal statement to sooth the minds and hearts of those on both sides of the issue.
Do I believe God accepts those of the LGBT life style?  The answer is no He does not. God accepts no sinners. God will forgive all sins upon repentance, until then humans are on their own as they selectively pick they way they want to live to please themselves. I know that The LGBT life style is trying to be as accepted as hate, divorce, stealing and all the other sins the church has come to ignore as wrong, so in time it will be ignored as well by people but not God.

It's the ungodly practice and lifestyle that God hates when it comes to gay, lesbian, homosexual, SSM, transgender or bisexual practices. Living or practicing those types of lifestyles brings God's adverse disapproval. God doesn't hate the person because He knows if they truly love Him they will change their lifestyle to please Him. The Bible even mentions how some WERE homosexuals or people who have sex with their own gender,  as having changed, repented and turned their lives around and became righteous Christians according to God's standards (1st Corinthians 6:9-11).

God loves all His creation. With that said, God may love all His creation, but only those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will go to Heaven. After one's salvation is complete through Jesus Christ, sins afterwards effect privileges in Heaven. If a person who is saved doesn't change His or her ways after salvation, that person will receive no rewards in Heaven.

where do you find this false doctrine in scripture?     If they dont change their ways  they have no salvation.   Mark 13:13
13 And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
