Assange: Russia didn't give us emails - Can we finally put this fake hacking story to rest?
The Obama Administration and the American Lap-Dog Media continues to push a false narrative about our election being hacked, simply to undermine and delegitimize the upcoming Presidency of Donald Trump. Last night the man behind the leaks revealed, yet again, that Russia did NOT supply any information to WikiLeaks. The TRUTH revealed in those leaks is what cost Hillary the election, not any interference.
Why do you defend Assange? This is a guy who revealed American intel sources in Afghanistan without caring about the consequences. He does not like the U.S. Wikileaks also revealed personal info on rape victims. This is nuts. Put your hatred of HRC and Obama aside for just a second and think about who you are defending. Putin? Assange?
How do you he is not getting the info from an intermediary acting for the FSB? This way he can go out and say, "The Russians did not give me the emails."
Why do you defer to the CIA? Didn't they lie about WMDs in Iraq? Clapper lied to congress, they kept quiet for weeks about the lies Obama, Hillary and Rice spewed on Benghazi (during an election). Isn't the CIA run by political hacks?
CJ
Are you really defending the US actions shown in the leaks? The email content should have been released by the US government as the public needed to know this info, especially in a pres election yr. Hillary lost because she dn have a good platform
You guys are making an "Everybody does it" defense. That's not a reason not to go after the Russians for cyber attacks. You could blame us for lapses at 9/11 and Pearl Harbor.
But you still go after the attackers, correct? Don't side w/an enemy.
Who's defending him? His organization has never been shown to have lied or fabricated anything - just the messenger
Everybody defense? You guys? I did no such thing, as a matter of fact you ignored answering my comment and lumped it in with "you guys." Nice try at diversion from the facts.U feign why Ralph defends Assange but avoid answering my Question?
Taze, it's not just the CIA making this assessment. WMDs have nothing to do with this. That was a decade ago and those analysts are gone (several directors ago). None of what you said matters. Assange is a tool of the Russians. Period.
It doesn't matter now, this story will live forever with those whom love conspiracy theories. For some this is the truth and nothing but the truth so help them god.
Mike
Poedesta used password as his password, and they want us to blame Russia. When the real problem is the democrats didn't protect their own info, and HRC didn't protect those from the State Department.
Brad you are correct but keep in mind they never except the blame for even their own stupidity.
I don't trust Assange. If Russia didn't give him the emails, someone working for the Russians MIGHT have. Just sayin.
Or someone working for China. Just sayin. The fact is we will probably never know for sure. The fact is we had a right to see those emails so thanks to whoever did it.
China is a real cyber threat - I've read a lot about their antics
Question isn't really whether to trust Assange,it is why trust BO's CIA?They leaked it was the Russians during the election, but you didn't see any leaks from them how the administration scrubbed theBenghazi news&that it was never a video
Assange may be right. Assange may be wrong.
Blaming the leaks on "fancy bear" and "cozy bear" makes me think our intelligence service personnel spent too much time watching "The Three Stooges" and reading "Aesop's Fables" when they were growing up.
I predict that the supposed four-hundred pound hacker sitting on a hotel bed will in the future be referred to as "Papa bear", and the next six year old who gets his hands on daddy's computer will be known as "Baby bear".
In retaliation, Russian intelligence will likely blame the whole fiasco on "Goldilocks".
Assange can't be wrong, he is either telling the truth or he is lying. He could only say it wasn't the Russians if he knows specifically where it came from and knows it wasn't hackers associated in any way with Russia or else he is lying.

John McCain claimed that leaks provided to WikiLeaks by Bradley Manning, which included the diplomatic cables, caused U.S. foreign sources to be harmed. However, it was in fact an error on the part of a Guardian journalist, not WikiLeaks, that that led to the full unredacted cables leaking to third...

Is there anyone in the Trump administration who hasn't met with the Russians?Donald Jr., son-in-law and Manafort met with a well know Putin connected lawyer ostensibly to hear dirt on Hillary. That was one version, then Jr. added to the tale after a NYT article spilled the beans on the meeting....
