Does the Hubber score reflect the bias of the HP moderators?
It seems that when an author writes about things they disagree with our Hubber score plummets. Or is it that they are discouraging Authors, when they don't know what the author is saying.
Shyron, It would be nice to have the answers to these and other questions in the hp terms of service. Which way do you think the HP moderators are biased?
My experience has shown that hp moderators and their bots, never give a reason for their actions. Without this kind of feedback, how are we supposed to know where are the hp boundaries. It encourages repeated moderation when it is not clear what is a problem.
For ex, Your question is waiting for hp moderation. Next, you find your ? has been closed by them. Reason: None given. What have we learned, Nothing.
??
Yes that is what I am talking about Brad, it seems to me that the moderators don't know beans about writing and judge hubs by whether they like/agree with it or not.
Shyron, I agree, this has nothing to do with the quality of the writing. It seems that they have their bots programmed with keywords, and that flags humans and we have no idea what is their criteria.
No one knows how to interpret these scores.
Ohhhh GF. You sure do know my take on all of this. I've been so forthcoming, I'd have to say everyone knows. I'm as much in the dark as I have always been and certainly no happier.
I want you to know that after I wrote my hub, expressing my disillusionment with our infamous Hubber scores~~believe it or not, once again I had the experience of my score jumping and plunging erratically!! Yes. One day I go on to HP and my score is 82....in that same day, it jumped to 92!! (although I had done nothing) I swear it was as though some evil force was waiting for me and had done this just to (EFF!) with me. So, I just tried to ignore it and keep working. Well, it remained 92 for 2 days......and then just as had happened to me before, it dropped suddenly to 82. Mechanical or HUMAN?? Do we know? NO!!
You know what Shyron? I have utterly given up.It will always bother me terribly, but I will never again go to HP for an answer or help of any kind. (No one needs to wonder why)....It's futile. I guess I see now why most people don't "care" about their hubber score. It does us no good to care.
I don't wish to go to the moderators about anything. At this point, can we even trust them to tell us the truth? I think not.
Such an ongoing problem...that obviously only bothers US....and not THEM!...........Hugs, Paula

Is HubPages trying to discourage its writers and get them to quit writing?Every time I publish a hub my Hubber score goes down then it goes up by 1-2 points and then down by 1-2 points. Then when I am not on here for a day or two it goes down by more than 2 points. This is very...

I took a hiatus for awhile from Hub Pages! However, in the past week or so, I have added new hubs participated in forums, asked a question or two, participated with the Hub Hopper, have read some Hubs, yet my Hubber Score is lower than it was when I was doing nothing. I don't get it!

Evidently, hubber score has absolutely nothing to do with earnings. Yesterday was my biggest earning day EVER on HP, yet my hubber score is the lowest it's been in quite a while. That's okay - I'll take high earnings over a high score any ole day!

Who thinks we should ask to reinstate a page dedicated to locating hubbers by hubber score. Beginning with 100-0.We once had such a page here that made the hubber score much more relevant, and we could at least get a chance to locate the top hubbers who most definitely deserved high praise for...

I've been on here for a few years, and I guess I never really understood the point of these scores. They don't seem to provide any real value to the user and I can't convince myself that they add value because they fluctuate so much. What's the point? Am I supposed to use these scores to tell me...

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes?If you have hubs that have been deemed "not featured", for one reason or another, will that factor into lowering your overall score/rating as a HubPages member? Example--let's say your overall rating is 75. If 10 non featured hubs become...
