   Wow, what a debate! So what are your thoughts on last night's debate? It certainly got a bit heated, and I might venture to say a bit crazy.
   
   Joe Biden repeatedly made it clear through his complaints he felt the rules of the debate were not up to his liking. He seemed confused with a few inappropriate statements.
   
   Mayor Pete ---  Took advantage of several occasions to make direct comments to Bernie Sanders. Pointing out the many dangers for the DNC nominating a democratic socialist. He went after Bernie's healthcare plan and the differences in his own healthcare plan. We also got a look at a lighter side of the mayor, he showed a bit of a sense of humor, when he made a good attempt to plug his website and encourage donations.  In my opinion, he won this debate hands down.
   
   Bernie got hit from every side, up down and around...  he seemed ill-prepared to defend his agenda in many cases giving little to no defense once he was off the usual script that he is so well known for... He had no real explanation of how he would pay for all the free stuff he is proposing. H even had to endure some booing from the crowd.
   
   Liz held her own and stayed about water one could say.  She may even be one of the night's winners.   The Massachusetts senator seemed most on her game while directing her attacks at  Bloomberg for his previous comments about women, and his overabundance of wealth.
   
   I hope you will take the time to share your thoughts on last night's debate.

            I found it on CBS On Demand.
            
            Ugh, that was ugly. There were times when I thought Sanders might have another heart attack.
            
            Bloomberg did slightly better than okay.
            
            Sanders was rude interrupting and speaking over everyone else. And only repeated the same stuff, regardless of the question.
            
            Warren did okay, except for her confrontation with Bloomberg when, in her words, she accuses him of telling a pregnant woman "to kill it." That was a cheap shot. She also seemed to be the second-worst for interrupting and speaking over others.
            
            Klobuchar was almost a potted plant stage prop. Except, when she was challenging Sanders to compare legislative records.
            
            Steyer did the worse when he introduced support for reparations.
            
            Biden did well. I especially liked that he was the most respectful of the debate rules, and I liked it when he pointed that out.
            
            And Buttigieg . . . once more I think he looked like the best candidate.

            Buttigieg
            Warren
            Klobuchar
            Sanders
            Steyer
            
            I think that when folks talk about this debate they won't be saying much about Steyer or Klobuchar. I wish she had fared better.

               I too wish we could have heard more from Klobuchar. I find her and Pete the most plausible candidates, with agendas that could sway independence in their direction.
               
               Warren to me goes with whatever way the wind blows. I found her comment in regard to accusing Bloomberg having said to one of his pregnant employees "kill it" was a very cheap shot. The comment was booed by some in the audience.  Although it was hard to tell who they were booing.
               
               .Biden, started off steady as she goes, and then at one point he claimed that “150 million people” had been shot to death on U.S. soil since 2007.  And as the debate was coming to an end Joe appeared to have literally run out of steam... He visibly struggled to present his final answers do to noticeable fatigue and started to lose his train of thought.
               
               I found Bernie very rattled, and more or less repeating his usual mantra. His sweeps at Bloomberg in regard to being a good friend to president Xi, left me scratching my head.  I think it was almost "silly".Sanders appeared to have trouble answering a number of questions about socialism, authoritarianism, guns, and how to pay for his costly health care and education plans. The boos he received seem to rattle him more than any question.
               
               Mayor Pete delivered a good debate performance that was packed with his usual talking points. He throughout the debate about gave rise to his concerns about the risks that would face the country and the Democratic Party if Sanders is nominated. I thought he did a well with all the confusion on that debate stage.
               
               I have to say out of all the debates this one held my attention. However, for all the wrong reasons.

                     You can say a lot about old Shar, but fearful, not in my personality. I just go with the flow.  Being fearful or worrying about something I have no control over is not my thing. I never look at the sky and thinking it might be falling, I look at it to see if it clear or cloudy.
                     
                     Not sure why you felt my comment showed me being fearful. I was just giving GA my opinion on the debate,  I was honest about what I felt about the candidates and their performances. I  hold no bias against any of these candidates. As I said the debate held my attention, the others were boring.
                     
                     Now let me ask you. What do you think would have given me cause to be fearful?

                           Randy, At the very first talk of the coronavirus, we pulled all funds out of the market. We could see this one coming. We were not willing to take the beating we took in 2007- 2008. We had planned to make the move anyway with the pending election. The coronavirus pushed us into moving sooner.
                           
                           Who knows what is coming at this point. We are waiting for the market to pull back a bit more before considering getting back in. So, you ask how is that market ?--- I would say it's a scary proposition at this point, The market was overbought and due for a correction. But this does not feel like a typical correction. This coronavirus will most likely keep this market unstable for some time.
                           
                           Has Trump come down with the virus?  That's about the only thing that might keep him down for a while. LOL

                     I was going to give a lengthy retort to your snarky comment. However, then I thought about why waste energy.  Anyone can read the comment I made in response to a conversation I was having with GA, and see I was simply critiquing the controversial debate. I saw pretty much was many journals saw and penned. I think it was not me feeding hatred, I think your comment dished it up pretty good...
                     
                     I hold no animosity toward anyone, let alone a cast of mere strangers on a debate stage. In fact, I feel each one of them is a very accomplished human being. I prefer you did not address my comments, we have nothing in common.

         Exactly. Those who thought the DNC was about the people are growing more and more frustrated. The older democrats seem perfectly happy with whatever it takes to gain power, full well capable of seeing that the democrats have absolutely no agenda other than crippling attempts at serving the country. Making excuses as they go. I can't wait to see what they say in the end. It's Bernie or Bloomberg. A socialist or a racist who degrades women and has contempt for pretty much everyone.

      It was so over the top it would have been comical if not related to the future of the country.
      
      No matter what happens, I will never vote for Bloomberg or any other candidate that thinks they can simply buy the election. If the DNC enables this, they will continue to lose the little legitimacy they have left:
