he deal, which would deepen Sudan's engagement with the West, follows Trump's conditional agreement this week to remove the North African nation from the list of state sponsors of terrorism if it pays compensation to American victims of terror attacks.

This is wonderful news, a. wonderful accomplishment for President
Trump History news I would say. Thoughts

A much-needed boost to peace in the middle east and better trade for all involved. Better trade "could" work out for better lives for citizens in these countries.

I so appreciate your comment. As you note no one else has commented. It would seem that this historic peace deal is just not important. This should give you a good idea of what some American's think is important and what is not important.  The Middle East has been a hot spot for so many decades, and the people have been made to live it... Trump has started a path that could lead to better peace, and better trade for the region, he has brought hope to millions to have the opportunity to live in peace.

The Middle East or ME is a most vital hot spot in world history.                                                                Many American or foreign nationals seems to forget easily the Camp David meeting hosted by former President Jimmy Carter. But the ME still boil turbulently till date!                                                Tell me that the area is of less importance. What is not fully understood is that there is an ancient trade route in that area before sea routes to the East and Orient were discovered. Whoso ever control the route, control the trade and the area. That is a major reason why the ME has hardly see peace for thousands of years.                                                                                 Now, peace is coming to the place after Jerusalem is made  Isreal capital by the same Trump. What a welcome peace!

President Trump's accomplishments, while in office for such a short time are commendable.
Of course he gets no praise, no coverage whstsoever, from MSM, only constant criticism! Which many career politicians (R&D) are, understandably, all for, because.....my oh my, how he makes them look so incompetent and overrated, day in and day out, accomplishment after accomplishment.

Yes, from the day Trump stepped into the WH he has worked to solve problems that have been around forever. This certainly inflamed the Washington elite as well as the media. It's been a very interesting four years, and it's now a fact after we the people have observed a president that could get things done with ease, we are done with the status quo.
Many have come to the conclusion and have taken note of just how ridiculous our government had become.  We have witnessed the sheer arm of propaganda the Dems and the media have dished up, and thank God so many of us have realized and are just overall the BS.

All credit to Donald Trump for this. The recognition by another Muslim nation from the middle east is a feather in his cap. By these acts Trump has brought peace in the region and made a name for himself in world history. Trump must now turn his attention to 2 belligerent nations Turkey and Pakistan.

This is a significant accomplishment by President Donald Trump.  He's also had three nominations for a Nobel Peace Prize.  It isn't going to get much recognition in the United States because the liberal main-stream press ignores everything he accomplishes.  It is a shame.  President Donald Trump has done some amazing things the average American knows nothing about.  Truth hurts liberals too much for them to tell it.

No President Trump's accomplishments are very rarely covered. But this has been reported around the world. Many American's are too busy to recognize this historic event, too busy with "woe is me" due to the virus.  Does not say much about American's.  And the truth not only hurts liberals, but it also immobilizes their minds in many cases.

Trump has a great team, and he knows how to get work done. I watch his press conferences and his press secretary's press conferences. I see what the media is like. Crazy.

A friend shared this with me:

WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS AND WE NEED TO CELEBRATE THIS!!!
Three peace agreements between Israel and an Arab-Muslim nation (the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Sudan) in less than three months!
There is "Gefilte in the Gulf" for the first time in 25 years! One of the first things authorities in Abu Dhabi did was instruct all hotels to offer kosher food and beverage options, anticipating a surge in Israeli and Jewish travelers (between 150 to 300K) following the landmark peace agreement between Israel and the UAE!
An Etihad Airlines flight landed at Ben-Gurion Airport at 7 a.m. on Morning morning (Oct. 19th) making history as the first commercial flight from Abu Dhabi to Tel Aviv EVER.
Now Arabs and Israelis, Muslims, Jews, and Christians are actively choosing to create a mutually prosperous future in which they can live, travel, pray, dream together, side by side, in harmony, community, peace and, most importantly, mutual respect of one another:
“Captain, we are thrilled and honored to welcome you to overfly Israel,” an Israeli air traffic controller is heard telling the Etihad Airways pilot...“This is a historic moment we have all been waiting for. We hope it will inspire the whole region and mark the beginning of a new era, inshallah (in Arabic: God willing).”
The pilot responded: “Inshallah, thank you, the honor is ours.”

This is much a better unite than a split division. People only see brotherhood, peace, and how to migle together. I like it when it last permanently.

Have to wonder if Trump will receive the Nobel Peace Prize for such an event.  Or kicked to side as Obama is given the credit.

LOL..Ha Ha ---  I mean why not give Obama Credit even though he had Zero to do with it. Maybe he should have been awarded a second Nobel for his Iran deal. That would be just as laughable.

Why kicked aside? It was still good news to me when Obama  finished off  Osama Bin Ladin. Should we credited Trump with this later feat?

We should.  We should also credit him for the lowest black unemployment ever for for the lowest general unemployment in decades.

But look around - half the nation kicks his work and accomplishments to the curb, giving credit to the man that used tried and true policies to produce the slowest recession recovery in history, but without anything to show for it in the way of solid, material results.
