Of course, the censoring has begun. Liberals are on a vengeance. They vehemently argue that conservative though is analagous to hate speech.
They are threatened by any form of conservative thought & speech.
Liberals/Leftist/Democratics want a fully liberal/leftist America.
Yes, this outlook of the Liberals is very apparent, at this point, is it not?
Censorship of Conservatives is now happening on radio as well as in book publishing.
“Cumulus Media — Talk-Radio Owner Threatens to Fire Hosts Who Dispute Election Results
A media company that employs right wing talk-radio hosts, including Mark Levin, Dan Bongino, and Ben Shapiro, circulated a memo after the pro-Trump riots on Capitol Hill telling hosts to dial down allegations of election fraud, or else face termination.”

Not wanting to be associated with people peddling outright lies that leads to instances of treason sounds like a pretty smart business plan. You call it censorship, I'd call it patriotism.
"You call it censorship, I'd call it patriotism."
You sound just like the communist Russians. This is the excuse they used to keep Ukrainians from speaking their own language, having their own traditions. It is reasoning they used for silencing Ukrainian writers, shutting down Ukrainian newspapers. The Ukrainians were going to be Russians whether they liked it or not.
I suppose the concept of free speech and freedom of association is a bit beyond those on the left.
Saying freedom of speech is beyond us, when it's not a freedom of speech issue when a private company tries to shut down domestic terrorists is the epitome of misunderstanding.
You've prove my point that you know nothing about the concept of free speech.
If you want true free speech on social media platforms then do away with Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. Know what this is about?
To summarize, Section 230 does two things:
It prevents social media companies from being sued as a "publisher" of content.
It prevents social media companies from being held responsible when it flags or removes objectionable content in good faith.
So, remove section 230 and make social media platforms as responsible as other media outlets.
This isn't too complicated for you...is it?
There have been several instances of people being booted from flights for railing against Trump, too. I guess it's all about whether you're a pain in the @ss, not your political ideology. Google it.
pp...a "private conversation?''
Since when should anyone be removed from a plane because of their private conversation? How many private conversations take place with no problem...but if you talk about President Donald Trump...you get removed from the plane?
The part I struggle with is it being a private conversation. They weren't yelling in the plane...they were having a private conversation. Think about how horrible it is to be removed because of your private conversation.
I guess it wasn't terribly private if someone was alarmed by it. By the way, I will not click on extreme right-wing websites. If you share a link from, say, something like Reuters or even Fox News (the news secrion, not the opinion section), I will read it.
?? I didn't realize there was a "news" section part of Fox, at least not when politics is the topic.
Of course I feel the same about CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc....
"Private conversation"
But the man himself said "there was a whole bunch of people. The woman herself said "the whole back of the plane was hollering". "They're not telling us anything except we were loud." The man "I said Trump 2020!" The woman "all I did was cheer".
LOL
And for that you're removed from a plane? I have seen FAR worse and people were permitted on the plane. I was on a plane to NYC and the back of the plane was singing hip hop songs most of the time...were told to be quiet more than once and refused...the staff just took it. Talk about double standards.
Tucker Carlson has an excellent piece about bit Tech's crackdown on free speech.
''Carlson began by stating that “[t]he crackdown on America's civil liberties...is here now and it’s unprecedented and it will have consequences” and “unintended” ones at that as this widespread censorship and forced social isolation (on top of COVID restrictions) “will cause extremism.”
On the Trump ban, Carlson pointed out that Big Tech has “silenced him” after the fact that Trump has “called for” such companies to be broken up. This, Carlson noted, was a way for Big Tech and the Democratic Party to show the public that “they’re in control now” and that their “assault on speech” will gain speed.
The Intercept founder Glenn Greenwald joined Carlson and declared this “the initiation of a new war on terror” because the Biden administration will “further criminalize domestic terrorism” by expanding it to include Trump supporters writ large and “increase their power to monitor political groups, to infiltrate them, to criminalize activities that currently are not criminalized, nor should they be.”
“A tiny handful of tech oligarchs are more powerful than any nation state. They determine what we can hear, what we can speak, what is true, and what is false, with zero accountability and zero transparency. They overwhelmingly donated to the Democratic Party and support the Democratic Party,” he added.

The left is not happy to shut down the Free Speech rights of conservatives...now they want to go after anyone who will employ them.
''Corporate media and the Left aren’t satisfied with merely controlling the White House and both chambers of Congress in less than two weeks. They want revenge.
They also want to punish anyone who worked in the Trump administration and, to a lesser extent, the 45th president’s supporters.
On Thursday, in what was the most recent and possibly the most egregious example, Randall Lane, Forbes’ chief content officer, announced that Forbes Media was “holding those who lied for Trump accountable” in what he called “a truth reckoning.”
Lane claimed that the media group was taking this unprecedented action in response to the mob attack on Capitol Hill late Wednesday afternoon, which resulted in two deaths — a Capitol Police officer and a female U.S. Air Force veteran who was demonstrating that day.''
https://www.newsmax.com/headline/forbes … d/1004991/
It just goes on and on and on,
"Parler CEO slams 'coordinated attack' as Amazon, Apple and Google go after conservatives
"We will try our best to move to a new provider right now as we have many competing for our business, however Amazon, Google and Apple purposefully did this as a coordinated effort knowing our options would be limited and knowing this would inflict the most damage right as President Trump was banned from the tech companies," the post stated.
"This was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill competition in the market place. We were too successful too fast. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us out," he wrote.''
https://www.wnd.com/2021/01/parler-ceo- … ervatives/
I never thought I'd see the day when I agreed with the ACLU...but here we are.
'Kate Ruane, a senior legislative counsel at the American Civil Liberties Union said in a statement that this illustration of Big Tech’s unchecked power should be a sobering lesson, even for Trump-haters.
“For months, President Trump has been using social media platforms to seed doubt about the results of the election and to undermine the will of voters. We understand the desire to permanently suspend him now, but it should concern everyone when companies like Facebook and Twitter wield the unchecked power to remove people from platforms that have become indispensable for the speech of billions – especially when political realities make those decisions easier,” the statement said.''

The question is, what can we do to resist? And resist we must.
Difficult, it will be.
And I do believe we will resist.
All (?) will do the right thing, as the time comes to do the right thing.
- whatever that right thing is.
I agree. Now is not the time to back down but do what is necessary for the long term. We can not let this go. We must stay strong for the long term. We have a president and vice president that were elected based on fraud. This is our time to save the United States for the future.
You already are doing it. Your people went to Washington on Jan. 8 with guns, knives, bombs, mace, motov cocktails and a plan to kidnap Democratic members of Congress.
Your people are planning to do it again next Wednesday.
No. They did not do that, yet you spin the narrative.
To what end? I ponder ...
to incite clicks?
Those facts are all over the news. Do you read the news or watch TV? One example among many:
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl … 83643.html
Also, do you support or condemn the violent attack on Capitol Hill? I can seem to get Trumpists on here to answer that simple question.
" with guns, knives, bombs, mace, motov cocktails and a plan to kidnap"
Wow...proof? Are you ignoring the participation of Antifa and BLM in the Capital protest?
And STILL it was more peaceful that rioting and looting and murders that took place in Democrat controlled cities over the summer.
Your media must not have shown you the guy walking through the Congressional chamber with the plastic zip ties. Nor about Lonnie Coffman.

You see a man with zip ties. Has anyone spoken to him and asked what his purpose for the zip ties? Don't assume you know. Trust me, there are many uses for zip ties that have nothing to do with people.
The Daily Beast? Seriously?

'Storming the Capitol, just happen to have hostage zip ties'
Have you ever had any training in crowd control? Now, if there are police or people from the National Guard reading this, I'm sure they'll back me up.
The zip ties in that picture are FAR to large to be used on people. The head and paw are too big. They would be easy to get out of if used on people. The zip ties used for crowd control are much smaller and made differently. You can put a dozen of them on your belt and remain mobile. Remember, they're made only long enough to go over people's wrists.
The zip ties in the picture are used to be placed through grommets. The type of grommets found on a sheet of canvas or a tarp. They are usually used to tighten down banners to poles or other solid objects.
Based on what is in the picture, he was looking for a place to put up a banner and use the zip ties to put it in place. That would make more sense with the huge zip ties he was carrying.
That's your story, and I bet you're sticking to it. Yep, those were "banner" zip ties . . .

GA
Maybe the organization Antifa may not have been present at the capital, but their followers were certainly there.
Have you ever been taught about the ways of crowd control? I'm sure police officers and members of the National Guard will back me up on this. The zip ties in that picture are too large to be used on people. They are so big, it would be easy to escape from them. The paw and leader are way too long and not made for crowd control.
The ones police use are much smaller and designed to only fit around a person's wrists. They're also designed differently.
Zip ties this large are usually used for being put through grommets to secure canvas or a tarp. The are often used to secure a banner or other large material to a pole. Looking at the picture, I would say they were going to be attached a banner to something similar.
You really believe what the guy from BLM said? I don't.
Meet Zip Tie guy...flex cuffs, used in crowd control. Also carrying a taser.

And not sure I totally believe the BLM guy after hearing him shouting some encouragement to rioters.
The persecution of Trump followers continues unabated.
"National Hockey League Declares War on Trump Supporters? Former Trump Campaign Staffer Reveals Chilling Account of Political Persecution
A North Carolina Trump campaign staffer revealed a chilling allegation of political persecution on Wednesday, detailing his account of being fired from a charter plane company merely for his previous employment with the Donald Trump campaign".

Just when you thought the oppression of the supporters of President Donald Trump couldn't get any worse, now they are going after our children. PBS is the culprit, I am not making this up.
"PBS lawyer suggested sending children of Trump voters to 'reeducation camps' where 'they watch PBS all day'
"Even if Biden wins, we go for all the Republican voters and Homeland Security will take away their children," Beller says in the video. "And then we'll put them into reeducation camps."
https://www.foxnews.com/media/pbs-lawye … mF4jq5tXkM
Oh please. A mid-level attorney sarcastically shot off his mouth and got fired for it.
It does make you wonder if he is just the tip of the iceberg. It is kind of frightening to think there are probably many more who think the same way.
Just watched the clip from project Veritas on their mid level lawyer suggesting children of Trump supporters be taken and put into reeducation camps.
You can't make this stuff up. Educated people, too ignorant to understand they are calling a guy they hate Hitler, but they are acting like Nazis toward those who disagree.
This kind of shores up a point I've made about the demand for free university for all. You can't educate the ignorance out of some. It's a waste of money.
“A helpful rule of thumb I borrowed from a friend:
Huge numbers of our population believe in a complete alternate reality. Alternate facts as it were. But just as intensely as I believe they are deluded, they think I am the one who is deluded. Maybe I am. So how can I be confident in my perception?
It can be quite difficult. But, I have found that in times of political confusion, particularly when emotions are running high and creating tunnel vision, the presence of Nazis can be an extremely helpful indicator.
If I am attending a local demonstration or event and I see Nazis…neo-Nazis, casual Nazis, master race Nazis, or the latest-whatever-uber-mythology-Nazis, I figure out which side they are on. And if they are on my side of the demonstration? I am on the wrong side.
It is tough to argue moral equivalence when I am standing next to a Nazi."
Trump's DC rally...everyone was standing with the Nazis.
Sure is easy to post someone else's words without any validation of them, isn't it?
This just shows me you and your friends total lack of knowledge and understanding when it comes to Nazis.
You really should pick up a history book and do some reading rather than just repeating words. There are those of us who have and know better. This is why we find your words so easy to ignore.
There are no Nazis. I really get sick of the use of that term. It's a lie repeated, ad nauseum. I'm beginning to think people just can't think of something intelligent or relevant.
Your choice to remain that blind to reality. Hard to sound intelligent or relevant when you're in such denial to a simple and easily verifiable truth.
"There are no Nazis."
Did you type that with a straight face?
ScottSBateman,
Shush. Do you hear that sound? It's crickets. LOL.
The persecution of those who support President Donald Trump continues.
"Curt Schilling Says Insurance Canceled Due to ‘Social Media Profile’
Red Sox legend Curt Schilling is saying on Twitter that his insurance company, AIG, canceled his policy because of his online persona. Schilling is a vocal Donald Trump supporter, shares Trump’s view that the election result was fraudulent, and even tweeted support for last week’s riots at the Capitol."
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/c … a-profile/
So, would it be okay with the left if people who were vocal supporters of Antifa or BLM had their insurance policies canceled due to the riots this past summer?
Their protests consisted of looting, rioting, destroying over 50 federal buildings and a price of Billions. Shouldn't those who support such anarchy be punished?
Persecution of followers of President Donald Trump continues into academia. Now Harvard wants to revoke degree, things people have worked for, paid for and earned, because they support President Donald Trump.
"Harvard students seek to revoke Trump graduates’ diplomas after Capitol Hill violence
'Revoke their Degrees' targets Kayleigh McEnany, Sen. Cruz and Rep. Crenshaw.
They’re at it again.
Following last year’s efforts to ban Trump Administration officials from speaking on campus, Harvard University students are now circulating a petition that calls for revoking degrees from Trump supporters and aides who attended the elite Ivy League institution, FOX Business has learned.
The reason cited, according to a copy of the petition reviewed by FOX Business, is that supporters of President Trump were involved in spreading the “disinformation and mistrust” that led to last week’s deadly riot at the United States Capitol Building."
https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/ha … l-violence
I guess those involved in protests that destroyed cities this past summer is just fine with them.
THEY came for the cities, but I didn't live there and made no response.
THEY came for the monuments, but they weren't MY monuments and I made no response.
THEY came for the businesses, but they weren't MY businesses and I made no response.
THEY came for the police, but I didn't have a brother or spouse on the force and I made no response.
THEY came for the neighborhood, but it wasn't MY neighborhood and I made no response.
THEY came and they came and and my only response was sympathy and encouragement for them.
But then they came for ME and I...I am above common Americans.
I:
BOUGHT a bulletproof vest because I am scared and it is paid for by the others they came for.
IMPEACHED our president because he did not ignore my instructions to do nothing.
BEGAN the biggest manhunt in the history of our country for anyone that dared come for ME.
CALLED in thousands of troops to protect me although I had denied help when they came for others.
Mike, it's all so silly, what do these people expect to achieve other than a further fragmentation of society.
Emge,
The Democrats are drunk with power right now. They want to punish any and all who opposed them. This believe it is their right to get retribution. I don't think they know much about history. If you try and punish over 70 million people because of their political beliefs, there will be trouble. I'm sure you know what happens when the leaders of a country alienate half of their population. I'm sure we can agree. Bad things happen.
+1000000000, the Democrats were on a vehement vengeance since Trump became president. They wanted to get Trump out from the inception of his presidency. They used any means to get rid of him.
Yeah, why should they want to protect the country from a guy who committed at least two crimes to get elected.
And why would we want to know all the details when a hostile foreign nation, Russia, attacks our elections and assists their preferred candidate into power.
And why would anyone be concerned when Trump commits ten instances of Obstruction of Justice to protect that hostile foreign nation during that investigation.
You say vengeance, I would call it national security and enforcement of our laws.
They act as though the actions of the Democrats occurred in a vacuum, with no cause. Never mind that their concerns about Trump have been proven correct many times over. The majority of the people in this country want Trump removed from office.
Oh, they didn't act in a vacuum or without a cause - they acted within the framework of the DNC and the cause was to eliminate competition in the political arena. Particularly competition from outside that arena.
This always makes me giggle a bit - that the fragmentation (and it is certainly there!) comes from the evil right wingers. Consider that the people elected a new President, and:
The left made an immediate, 3 year investigation into the people's choice for President that found no wrongdoing by Trump.
The left immediately began calling for impeachment, even before the people's choice for President took office.
Mainstream media immediately took up arms against the people's choice, denigrating him at every opportunity with gross exaggerations, spin and vitriol.
Any and all positive actions by the people's choice for President were ignored by both the left and the media.
The left impeached the people's choice with such nonsense that it wasn't seriously considered in the Senate.
The left has refused to investigate or even look at the charges our President made about the last election. Not a single witness/whistleblower has seen the lights of a courtroom. All we hear is "We know there was no fraud and therefore presidential allegations do not need checked".
The left has again impeached the man the people chose for president, and again on trumped up charges that cannot stand the light of truth or honesty, in no more than a grandstand political ploy of posturing and rhetoric.
Just who is "fragmenting" our society? The people that made a choice for their president, or those that have taken every possible opportunity to denigrate and vilify that choice?
Besides public speaking is the number one fear in the US. Most of the world has had enough of Trumps free speech, including most of the press and media, he claims, Fake News. I have lived in the US and thought the US was the freest country in the world, NOT today.
US Moves up to 45th place in World Press Freedom Index for 2020
June 1, 2020Lisa HooverCensorship. Reporters without Borders recently released the 2020 World Press Freedom Index, which attempts to measure press freedoms worldwide. This year, they ranked the United States 45th out of 180 countries; up 3 spots from 48th in 2019. The US’s “global score,” calculated “from responses to a questionnaire in 20 languages that is completed by experts throughout the world, supported by a qualitative analysis,”
Most of the world does not understand what free speech means. That they would attempt to quantify American freedom of speech is laughable.
From my own experience traveling a 100 countries. I would find these stats in the ball park. I barely watch News anymore in general, it's the same old crap, and it's become worse. I have only been ripped off by casino crooks in my 45 years of art business, Trump was one of them.
Now the persecution of Trump supporters now included minorities.
"NYU Prof in WashPost: Minority Trump Supporters Guilty of ‘Multiracial Whiteness’
She extrapolated this to the “unsettling exit-poll data…that a quarter to a third of Latino voters voted to reelect Trump,” a lazy and false inference she made throughout the piece: going back and forth between talking about millions of Trump voters as a whole and the tiny number of violent individuals in the Capitol mob, as if they’re interchangeable and equally guilty.
How does Beltrán reconcile the fact that some Trump voters and some of the participants in the Capitol riot were not white with her conviction that the evil of whiteness is what plagues our nation?
Instead of the paradox giving her pause to think that maybe it has nothing to do with race, she tried to square the circle: “I call this phenomenon multiracial whiteness — the promise that they, too, can lay claim to the politics of aggression, exclusion and domination.”
https://10ztalk.com/2021/01/20/nyu-prof … whiteness/
Most news outlets say that the January 6th rioters were overwhelmingly Anglo.
So what is with the Nazi Swastica and the Confederate Flag feature at the riot?
You missed the point. This isn't about the protest at the Capital. This is about punishing anyone associated with President Donald Trump. Now, even minorities who supported President Donald Trump are being punished. This woman will now label these people as being Guilty of ‘Multiracial Whiteness’
