Just a heads up in case you didn't see this posted on your dashboard:
    HubTool Scheduled Maintenance on 5/28/21
We will be performing scheduled maintenance on Friday, May 28th, from 10:00 pm to 12:00 am Pacific Standard Time. During this time, you will not be able to edit your articles with the HubTool. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Yeah, we all got the same notice. I know I won't be writing any articles at 10 at night on Friday. I'll be in bed, recovering from the week.big_smile roll

Exactly. In some parts of the world, people will be at normal hours.

It's probably too much to hope that the "scheduled maintenance" includes restoring comments in the first half of the year. Tick tick.

Is 12 pm midnight and 12am lunchtime?
I looked it up on the internet, but it seems the whole world is confused.
Luckily in the Netherlands we are never confused. We use 12.00 for midday an 24.00 for midnight. smile

It's based on PST 10 PM to 12 AM.

That's what I meant, it's confusing. LOL Read this.

Yes. I can see that it's not very clear. LOL! 12 AM to is midnight.

Why is this confusing?  AM represents morning and PM represents afternoon. Noon time is mid-day when the morning ends and the afternoon begins. So that’s 12PM.  And 12AM is midnight, the start of a new day.

Therefore, the HubTool will be unavailable for two hours from 10 in the evening on Friday until midnight pacific time.  That’s 1 AM to 3 AM eastern time.

Titia, for you that would be 07.00 to 09.00 Saturday morning in the Netherlands.

Glenn, if you click on the link I provided you'll see that a lot of people don't agree with you LOL

Titia, perhaps, adding "HP will be down for two hours" would have helped.

Kenna, that’s misleading. And the title of this thread is misleading too. HubPages will not be down at all.  Only the HubTool will be unavailable for two hours.

I hear you. I should have made the heading more clear.

Titia, I had clicked that link yesterday and saw the confusion. You’re right that people who are confused will disagree. We can’t help everyone across 24 time zones if they don’t understand time zone differences.
