How to get enough traffic on my articles?

   Hey fellow Hubbers,
   
   I am struggling to get enough traffic on my articles. Due to this, often they stay on zero.
   Please suggest some ways to capture traffic.

      Poet Achana, the first thing one does when about to write an article is writing the title. That done, question arise if the title can garner some traffic, if not much per Google search terms or keywords.                                Critically, this rule also apply to the sub-title of the article, and sparcely, few keywords introduce into the body of the story.                                   Seriously, search engine friendly titles, and subtitles, and key words helps traffic. They's the need for you to introduce elements of SEO into the title of your articles.

            Poet Achana, it could be in the area of English. "Can let me know..." should have been "can you let me know..." in your comment post above.                                              Our articles or stories are supposed to be convey in a "standard" English model. Use either the  British or American standard.                                 Seriously, download and instal grammarly here: www.grammarly.com It also has formats for various English. Choice the British or American style, when instaling the device and fine tone your articles through it. I hope it helps.                                    Traffic is a challenge to every writer here. It's not always up. It rise and fall. But we can help it up, by re-editing our articles according to current trends.

   You need to get articles off Discover and onto the various niches, Dengarden, Owlcation, etc. Try submitting them, you'll have to do it one at a time, though. You have more chance of getting traffic when featured in the niches, but the criteria used by editors is stricter than for Discover.

         Study the articles that are already accepted onto the niche sites. That's what I do.
         
         HP are effectively telling you what they want/require and supplying examples when they put articles on the front page of niche sites.

   Getting your articles onto the niche sites is crucial, but perfect English is a basic requirement.
   
   I took a quick look at your St. Valentine's article and found some English errors. You wrote "heart-ranching" it should be "heart-rending." You refer to someone in prison as being "captivated" it should be "captured" or better "incarcerated."
   
   You also wrote "Later years, this story has linked with love" it should be "In later years, this story was linked to love."
   
   Later, you wrote "an 18th-century legend claims he wrote a letter to the daughter of the jailer daughter . . ." the second "daughter" is redundant.
   
   These errors all occurred in one paragraph and the editors would flag them as being below the standard needed for a niche site.

   Generally the articles which are in the nature of DIY or having very high quality will attract some traffic. Other articles will have a very low traffic. Most of us are facing that challenge.

      True, getting traffic these days itself is a challenge, even if you have many of your articles on niche site. Traffic does fluctuate, sometimes it rises other times drops badly.

      Poet Achana, 'Yes, its very...to update...from time to time', should be the correct grammar. Note the preposition 'from' that qualify the sentence completely.                                           Have you been following the latest discussion 'AxleAddict' is Live going on in the forum? It'll do you some good if you'll take note of my dicourse with Liz(Eurofile). It's worth a rule updating articles or writing one.

         Updating an article is important. I read the thread 'AxleAddict', HP is switching off the comments on articles. If it is going to happen, we will lose interacting with readers and fellow hubbers, which is not good.
