Hi, Pamela. Thank you for drawing my attention to the poem, but the link doesn't work for me. This one does, if it was the poem that you wanted to share.

      https://hubpages.com/literature/Poem-No … way-Street

I think Brenda's idea that love is actually a one-way street is lovely.

Bredz, It's a short poem, but it's a good one. It's meaningful and interesting. Thank you so much for taking the time to share. I agree with your thoughts. When we truly love someone, we are on the same path; there is no such thing as a two-way street. smile

Pamela, thank you so much for starting this forum, and Linda, thank you so much for posting the correct link to Brenda's article smile

    Happy new year!!
    Blessings and Love as always!!

Yes, Brenda love is not a two-way street, I agree. Going side by side with our partner and following the same path is really the key. I loved the poem. Nice write-up.

Thanks to  Pamela for sharing Brenda's work.

Happy New Year to both of you.

          Thank you.

When you walk side by side down the same path, when a struggle crosses....you can tackle it together.

Nice poem. Brenda, and good songs as always. I agree that love is a one-way street or at least two lanes going in the same direction. Thank you for sharing Pamela, and Linda for the correct link.

I was hoping this new year the cookie monster would leave us alone, but I didn't get a notification anywhere about your comment.

I'm glad you enjoyed this one.

Having someone by one's side to share the journey whether it is a smooth or bumpy one is so worth it!  I enjoyed Brenda's quotes and poem.  Thanks to Linda (AliciaC) for putting the correct link to Brenda's work.
