The last of my articles have been deleted from HP. Backup copies are safely stored away. So I guess my HubPages journey is now officially at its end.
I'm still not sure what (if anything) I'm going to do with my material. I don't have the time (or, quite frankly, the patience) to try and start over somewhere else. For now, at least, I consider myself semi-retired from this whole "online writer" thing.
It's been a wild, weird, (mostly) fun ride since I joined HP in 2011. I've had a ball writing about my nerdy passions, making connections with fellow writers (Rutabagas 4 life!), and of course, beatin' the hell out of all those spammers.
To all who've stuck it out to the bitter end with HP (like me), I salute you with a frosty brew. Peace out... and in the immortal words of Ozzy Osbourne, "God knows I'll see you on the other side."
Earth, Soul, ROCK N ROLL!

End transmission
I enjoyed your articles. You were one of the mainstays on this site. It is a shame that it ends this way.
I hope you and other good writers will find the patience and desire to start over somewhere else.
I am going to leave my articles up until the very last moment so I can squeeze some more pennies out of HP.
Take care.
Yep, it's been a helluva ride, Keith. I agree with you about starting over somewhere else. I have zero motivation to do so.
Speaking of Ozzy, I'm reading his latest book, "Last Rites".
Earth, soul, rock n roll indeed! Love it, Keith!
Peace, love, and hippiness,
Shauna aka Bravewarrior
It's been hell of a ride for sure. I am still removing and deleting my articles. Until then, I have to put up with the scallywags.
You have been a regular. I have followed you for years. Take care!
Hi Keith,
It has been a wild and mostly fun ride for sure.
I first joined early in 2012 when I was laid off from a job I loved. HP provided a way for me to keep busy and entertained while I was job hunting. Even after I landed another job, I kept writing.
As I decided what my focus would be, I stopped writing about things like WWI and food, and began to write hubs about my other passion - music. I have probably unpublished more articles than many folks have published.
So many changes here in the last several years...you could see the writing on the wall (no pun intended).
I need to copy my articles for posterity or something. I sure wish there was a way they could do a bulk copy for us.
Stay well and keep on rockin'!

I found my popular hubs at these sites:http://www.yourwebsite.com/peachpurple.hubpages.com/http://motivationalwallpaper.org/motiva … -know.htmlIt seems that in order to get to my hub, viewers had to go thru the advertisement pages and download the page. It still doesn't go direct to my HP...

Seriously folks, all there has been here lately is ,'why am I only making pennies on my articles',. Did you really think that you would come to a content site and become a millionaire overnight? Really? I'm happy with making $5 a month which means someone out there likes my...

I just got an email from Helium. They're shutting down on 12/15. If you have earnings there, request them now!I'm not surprised H is coming to an end. It's a shame, though, because it was the first place I wrote online. When their Marketplace was up and running, I did very well there. I was making...

I have 8-10 articles that have got zero views over the last 30 days. They normally pick up some views, but this month I noticed they got none. Some are recent articles, others less so. Some have thousands of total views, but none in the last 30 days. So, I have decided to unpublish them for now...
