      I live in almost constant sunshine and I'm a happy girl~~
      the days it rains or is overcast are nice for a change~~ as long as they don't last over 3 days in a row!! :

      kind of. sometimes a cold rainy day can make me feel a little blue but that is only if i haven't seen sunshine for a while. living in arizona it doesn't rain that much but we have had stretches where it has been cold and wet for days at a time..around the fourth day or so i long to see sunshine again. however, if a really good storm is coming with high winds thunder and lightning, i LOVE that! i feel energized...

         that is the same for me cosette, a good thunder storm is energizing and we have wicked lightening here, you have to stay indoors if it's really bad, it's scary. 
         
         we need the sun, and yet I also tend to believe the change in temperature and pressure affects us a lot also, the animals tell us also when a change is near.

         also depends on the person. Some people handle it better then others..
         where I live, winter is long and extreme, we have a very high suicide rate...my husband is horrid all winter..so depressed and moody...i do think the lack of sunlight effects peole...

   SAD - which stands for something like seasonally affected depression, is a recognized medical conditon where short gloomy days with no sunny weather makes people depressed, but for me personally I don't think it is true.

   Depends on what you consider bad weather I suppose. My son loves gloomy, cloudy days with lots of wind and rain. He wants to be a storm chaser!
   
   For me, cold and sunny is best, gives me an automatic lift.

   very true.  one of the reasons why canadians struggle with MS (multiple sclerosis) and bi-polar depression more than most western countries is because we have a huge lack of vitamin D that only the sun can give.  and we dont get enough of it.  did you know that we give our babies 1 ml of vitamin d everyday in syrup form?  so yes, weather does change mood and health.

   I have noticed that when a storm is approaching my children are restless and friends with heart conditions suffer.  So yes, the weather does affect our moods, however I think we are more affected by changing weather that sunny or cloudy days.

   I am definitely effected by the weather. When it rains I get headaches and I do get more depressed in the winter. However, I now try to take Vitamin D pills every day and it does help my mood, I notice it when I don't take it...like today.

      have you tried tanning? you dont have to stay long enough to actaully get a tan, but the warmth and brightnesss and uv rays can help..

   I do find cloudy, chilly, rainy days like today are somewhat depressing. Partly because this is the time of the year when it should be sunny with the leaves turning color etc.

      Yes while I love rain and stormy nights when I'm not alone...makes for a instant romantic mood setting. I am gloomy when it is raining and dark during the day. Something happens to me when it's warm and sunny it's like my dose of Happy sans the prescription jar.......lol

    Well, if I was planning on heading to the beach and it starts raining = BAD
    
    If I was planning on mowing or raking the lawn and it starts raining = GOOD (Means a day curled up on the couch catching up on my reading!)

    The sun gives energy to every living things, including us humans.
    On a rare sunny day in London the people come out squinting and smiling at each other in the street like prisoners who have just been let out of a dark prison. Of course the weather affects us. Why are southerners so much happier than those who live in cold, dark, rainy climates?

    I do believe that ther is some truth to it because some days when I am down the gloomy weather does mirror that for me. But even some days I am down and the sun is out. And when i am happy some days it's either sunny or it's rainy and gloomy. I think it depends on the person.
