   I come to you asking for help. I'm stuck!
   
   I am at a scene where there has to be a plan made for stopping the demons from destroying the New Year Masquerade Ball...and my brain and imagination has drawn a blank.
   
   Help? Please?

      Maybe they go to a slaughter house and get some animal blood and put it in a container and use as a lure to draw the demons to it, but the blood is spiked with holy water, consecrated from the pope, which was STOLEN from one of the kid's grandmother's possessions, and they pour in the water to the blood and a wild spectacle of lights, explosions and fireworks like displays happens as the demons devour the blood.
      
      Okay, that may not be great, but it's the best I can do in a pinch.

   the scene is just where a group of teens will be getting together and making a plan on how stopping the demons from ruining their fun Ball. I just need a plan on how they are going to stop them.
   
   Don't really need to know more about it than that to throw in some ideas.

      if i were writing this, i would research what demons are, their habits, idiosyncracies etc. then devise some sort of trap with something irresistible to lure them in. of course you'd have to think like a teenager since you are writing from that POV.

   sorry, type of demons? Is GOD availabe?
   or, silver bullets, holy water, crosses? Can they be lured into a cemetary, to be defetad by religous symbols? (I know, not original, but cool anyway.) How are the demons killed. I mena. whats thier weak point? Trickery, perhaps. A virign can lure the demons to a trap? Can they be abyssed, leaving room for a sequal?

    Had a thought...a masquerade ball...could the good guys go to the ball dressed up as DEMONS?  Sorta get the edge of surprise there?  Infiltrate the enemy, so to speak?

    Well I don't know about you, but when I was a young adult all I could think about was sex! Anyway you don't need anything graphic just emotional will do. Hand holding, hugs and perhaps just a longing gaze might be enough to convey the message without crossing the line.

                If you read the bible, the whole reason demons exist in the first place, is because of women. They were angles, saw beautiful women they wanted, and came to earth in human form. This was a sin, they were kicked out of heaven, and now they are demons. Come to think of it, isnt that what sort of happend to Adam too? ANYWAY....I betch can thinkof something to do tastefully, with girls attracting teh demson...to some sort of trap. Sliver handcuffs for eternity or something...

                   Still, even with the young adults, or maybe especially with the young adults, there might be the tiniest whiff of developing sexuality there.  There was in the Harry Potter books, after about the third or fourth one...

       That's a good one.  And the good guys could be disguised as demons ---CAN'T GET THAT OUT OF MY HEAD!  IT'S A MASQUERADE BALL!  COSTUMES, PEOPLE, COSTUMES!---anyhoo, sorry, just smoked out of me for some reason.
       
       So, they could dip the spearpoints in holy water OR!  GET THIS!  The spearpoints could be made of FROZEN HOLY WATER!  Like ice sculpture spear points.  That ought to do it.  A totally graphic image came into my head of a demon getting one of those frozen holy water spear points right in the heart, and melting like the Wicked Witch of the West...
       
       You know what, this is kinda fun.
       
       We could work the scotch in there too, except it's not allowed.  Not even with holy water for a mixer.

       I actually ask ppl where they live so when I plan a book signing I can make sure to add their locations too...for the first book probably won't happen for me to visit and stay here in Cali so I can get the money for travling but I am going to make it a goal to also go where others live for book signing.

    Have them stumble upon the only New Year Masquerade Ball Mask that can, when worn by a particular person in the group, help fight and defeat the demons.
