   Without all the nonsense talk of religion or politics, each person is allowed to believe what he/she wants, from what I know it's not against the law yet..... so come on peeps. Why must we always inflict our feelings onto others no matter how you kno wthe other person feels? Let's just have fun.

    What makes you think we are not all getting along.  I try to call it as I see it and I truly learn either something more about the topic or even better more about the person I am in disagreement with.  Very insightful and educational.  There is also the added factor that a whole network of wires and radio waves keeps me from reaching through the monitor and ripping someones throat out. LOL.

          Crazd, things are about the same, dealing with a bit of carpal tunnel, so I haven't been writing a lot. Hubby's still looking, but this is a happy thread, so we'll be happy that he is at least getting phone calls of interest.  I'm setting up a website to sell his vases!

    This has been a rather peaceful day. I started out making muffins and sharing them in that other thread about nothing and now just cruising along letting my homemade veg soup simmer. Got one hub done and working on thoughts for another. Yeah just nice and peaceful.

    well you all know that i work with the elderly. You must have heard the saying once an adutlt twice a child.   Well there has been much dispute over the years as to whether it is ethical or not for old ladies, and sometimes old men to sit cuddling dolls and teddy's.....  It was discouraged at one time, but lately if it helps the patient and family don't object it has started happening, not too often though.
    
    Yesterday a lady was admitted to the nursing home where i work, and she had the teddy just like the one i am holding with her.  She talks to it, hugs kisses it. and you know what so do we.  I have often wondered how it would work, but this lady never puts the teddy down.  It actually made me very emotional.  We also have another lady who cuddles a doll, and we change the nappy for her, and put the soother in when she cries.  Then i decided i wanted a teddy of my own and here it is in my avatar.... my tears are falling for my lovely lady with her teddy...

    know what there are times when i would love to carry around one of those dolls, that looks like a real baby.... talk and cuddle it.... imagine i would get locked up..... we all need to  love something unconditionally i think whatever our age...
