How did life return to earth after the asteroid killed the dinosaurs?
If the dinosaurs were killed by an asteroid that wiped out ALL life on earth, including germs and microscopic bacteria, leaving only minerals (inanimate objects). Where did the seeds of the rebirth of life come from?
The asteroid DID NOT kill all the germs and microbes. Studies now show small reptiles and fish survived.
But scientists also know that comets bring the building blocks of life to planets and moons. So even if the asteroid did wipe everything out, a comet could've started everything again.
Ok...but how do the "building blocks" survive in the vacuum of space on the asteroid?
Building blocks (amino acids) aren't alive in the first place haha
Someone needs to read up on biology ![]()
I keep meaning to learn, that reading thingy...lol
So the amino acids survive entry into the atmosphere, by being inside the comet? The impact on the planet sends them into the world so to speak, and there you go instant planetary life seeds. Makes sense, seems possible... Thank You
Yeah, that is what happens. Scientists have already created life "out of nothing" in labs with using amino acids and heat/water control.
It's pretty fascinating.
Wrong again Tim, What you are referring to is a FAILED experiment published as truth kind of like the Ida discovery. Scientists haven't created life from non-life, EVER! Why? Proteins cannot form in water.
They're trying to recreate this primordial soup the evolutionists believe everything came from, but it's simply not working for them(I wonder why). They want to say we came from an amoeba, but when you look on the chromosomal level amoebas has more chromosomes then humans have today have.
In addition we have only been shown to be losing information ie we not gaining anything new that can be observed. IF science were to ever create anything LIVING from non-life it would only prove creating life requires intelligence.

As for the dinosaurs

discovery channel has a great show called how the earth was made . granted it is still speculation . but the best scientific ideas they have so far. and pretty non bias . they offer contrary theroys at the same time.
Also, keep in mind that what may be nothing but a building block, part of a building block, or even potential part of a building block can be something that wouldn't "get going" anywhere (yet known of) other than Earth, where the atmosphere was right for it at the time.
0What do you mean someone killed off all the dinosaurs? sniff sniff

Why do you not believe in Global Warming/Climate Change?I have no doubt our earth is warming at an alarming rate. One of the reasons I think this is because of the photo I included with the question. Otzi--the Iceman--was frozen over 5000 years ago and has remained that way through all sorts of...

If the earth is really getting hotter, why is it so cold-- and wet? Extreme weather is being reported all over the world-- from the the unusually cold winters to the unusually warm winters. It is also raining when it should not in many places. Is the earth really heating up?

It is 33 degrees as I write, 10:45 am, in sunny northern California. Have been wishing for global warming as I watch my tropical plant freeze. Why have we not heard about this story? Did you say," It's not politically...
