      well i don't drink too often so i don't know too many drinks, but i had a dream the other night about one. a drink. why, i don't know. anwyay, it was made from gin and cranberry juice and seltzer water and it had a mint leaf floating on top. is there such a thing? anyway it looked really good.
      
      
      anyway i love frozen margaritas. mmm.... and that stuff in UW's post sounds good too.

   I can't drink Bailey's any more I wish they would develop a low-fat version (please someone tell me they have).
   
   I like Bombay Sapphire Gin at Christmas-time. I drink it either in a Blue Curacao martini or in gin and tonic, with a twist of lime. I also like red wine and Southern Comfort.
   
   I just made out my shopping list for Christmas for liquor so it was already in my mind

      I have a friend who loves Bailey's.  I've never tried it.  For ages I've been seeing the caramel version when I go to buy wine, and I've kept saying how one day I'd try Bailey's - maybe the caramel version in   particular.  About two weeks ago I tried it, and I'll never get over it!!      I only had about a half inch in the glass and had to dump it.  My friend couldn't believe I didn't love it.     What a "horror show" of smell and taste that stuff has.    (IMHO).

   Coffee and Bailey's! And UW, a friend of mine found a recipe online for making your own version of Bailey's. She said you could make a low fat version by tweaking it.

    I usually am a steak and potatoes kind a guy (more like rice and whatever) but when I want a cocktail, I like Mojitos as of late.  It's my new favorite drink as an alternative to beer.
    
    My new second favorite cocktail is Captain Morgan (Spiced Rum) and Ginger-Ale.  It tastes exactly like Cream Soda

    Champagne of course!  Mix it with cranberry juice for a beautiful Christmas morning treat - "a Poinsetta" gets the day started off right and the rest of the champagne is open for sipping all day. yummmmmm.

    I will not be drinking any Liquor or Cocktails during the Holidays, because I've realized that Liquor and Cocktails can be easily lost in a web of wrongly made decisions and possibly lead to someone who will end up hurt or harmed.
    
    Hence, no alcoholic beverages will be consumed by me, so as to help protect others during the Holiday Season.

       How about this for a Dirty Santa:
       
       1 shot Kahlua
       1/2 shot rum
       3 scoops vanilla ice cream
       Splash of half and half
       3 or 4 maraschino cherries.
       
       Blend up the first 4 ingredients, then garnish with the cherries.
       
       (actually this is my standard rum mudslide, but I added the cherries to make it Santa-y.)
