I was wondering. Can i can put my Snipsly, ShetoldMe, Blogger, etc. into my google analytics account?

If yes, how do i do it?

I know i have to fill it in as a new domain without the www (or something like that), but i don't know how to figure out the right URL to insert.

Infact, sad i dont know my URL??? to the sites! Imagine that!!

Only if the site enables it.  When you have your own website, you have to paste in the Analytics code.  If you don't own the site, you can't access the source code to paste in the snippet.
So you can only use Analytics with that site if it gives you an alternative way of adding the code.  On HubPages, you paste it into the Affiliate Settings page.  I don't know if there's an equivalent on any of the other sites - maybe someone else does?

Thank you Marisa. smile I didnt notice any form of enabling myself, so wasn't too sure. I did add my blogger to adsense channels, but didn't know if i can put it in analytics. I still have so much to learn, will the learning curve ever end? hmm

You can put a blogger into analytics, but you have to edit the theme manually.  You simply post the code into it as you would with your own site.

Not sure about the other sites, but I'm sticking with Marisa's answer since you don't have access to post the script.

the hubpages feature of integrating analytics is unique.

on most 3rd party sites (shetoldme/snipsly) adsense tracking is the best option u will get

yes, you can use GA on blogspot

      Thank you SF.
I assume you mean the google channels? So do i add each individual bookmark(so many!) in the channel box? or just my author URL, say for example, at snipsly?

Thanks SF, still learning. Seems the curve is long and winding. lol

you can use individual adsense url channels for each of your articles/blurbs or just use a general one for the domain.

    general  ie. www.snipsly.com

    or   www.snipsly.com/viryabo-top-ten-snips

ItS so easy to set up, i would probably use the individual  uRL channels just to get the best tracking possible

    best o luck

Okay, now i get it. The individual, i agree, would be much better as it ensures one knows how each and every one performs.

However...the thought of plugging each one in seems so tedious (sigh).
Thanks for explaining this SF. smile I'm off to work on it now.
