Some weeks back we were warned about Google having some issues with She Told Me. Does anyone know if it is safe to put my Google ID back on that site?

No that wasn't it but it is related and the guy (James) seems trustworthy. So you think it's safe to put my google ID back onto She Told Me?

If Google had any issues with She Told Me their first action would would be to remove their ads.

    Anoter related question:
Can I just copy & paste the original hub title and description when submitting to backlink generating sites or is that regarded as duplicate content? I.o.w. Is it necessary to change the title and description for  every URL I submit?

That's what I do on SheToldMe and it seems to work fine wink Some may have different requirements, though. I didn't submit any posts to them for a while, but whatever the problem was, it seems to have blown over.

Thank you redelf, I've reactivated my google ID feeling more secure now with she told me.

It works pretty well.  You should write a blurb about your hub that is original.  But their requirements are not very long but we should all follow their rules so they like us.

I have had decent referrals from there to hubpages and to other sites as well.

i have signed up to She Told Me but have not really looked too much in to it yet, seems a pretty nice place though. I have heard a few bad rumours, but I have also heard that James (owner?) is a very approachable guy who is very helpful, so I am assuming that if people have had problems they either haven't been in touch with him, or have done something wrong!

I too have signed up with She Told Me and shared some of my HubPages work. I get some traffic from there to HubPages. But still I have not very seriously gone in to She Told Me. Thanks for raising this question.

I like it so far.  I'm getting traffic to my articles here and at 2 other sites from it.  No earnings to speak of really but a few cents from Chitika which you can earn from on She Told Me as well as through Google.  I think it has good potential.

Ye, I have She Told Me. Have had a couple of referals from there. Don't think I've earnt anything but can't do any harm to have them there anyway. Backlinks and suchlike.

Can you link it to Google Analytics? Because I have tried to but I think I've done something wrong because it doesnt seem to work!?!?!?

I added it as a channel in Google AdSense (under the AdSense Setup tab, then Channel tab) as shetoldme.com  with no www or http and it's tracking the traffic I get from She Told Me.  Hope that makes sense.

I added as a channel and i've earned a few cents from the site. I dont think it can be added to analytics.

I don't think I have earnt anything, or tracked any significant amount of referalls yet. However, I have invested practically no time in shetoldme yet, so I can't complain, and I know some people have had success with it!

Can you just copy your first paragraph or summary of your article here and then post a link there?

Can i copy my unique written articles to shetoldme.com assitive as i written in hubpages so is there any problem happen if i do this mean if it is not against google policies so can i do this please reply

i backlink with shetoldme but i always write a new and short summary of my hubs. if i copied the hubs there, HubPages would view it as duplicate content. it only takes about five minutes to write a short summary of each hub you are backlinking.

I joined ages ago, read the negative thread and never did anything with it.  By coincidence, I just went back there yesterday and added my belly dancing Hubs to see what would happen.  We'll see!

Has anybody signed up to Snipsly?  I did and put my websites on there.  I actually got some traffic from them yesterday (which is what made me think I should do something with Shetoldme).

Snipsly recently had some problem with their site getting hacked? Does anyone know if it's sorted yet? AVG still give their site warning signs in google.

no i don't like snisply. i forget why, but i stopped using them after a couple of weeks.

i do have a question about shetoldme though - does anyone use referrals in their backlinks? i don't, but was wondering if anyone does, or does shetoldme not like that. just curious.

If you wanted you could backlink once with your regular URL and again for every tracker that you have created. This would work at nay site that gives you the "that URL has already been submitted" type message, not necessarily saying its worth doing, but its one way of testing to see what effects slight phrasing and title variations can have on your traffic and ctr

      I use a tracker when I remember.

Some time ago, I just stopped in to take a look at shetoldme and wound up with shetoldme pop-ups. I never have a problem with pop-ups so I never went back. Has anyone had this problem?
