      I'm newbie and making 38$ this month (http://hubpages.com/hub/Adsense-earning … ased-by-50).

But it has taken several months and many hundred of pages on many different blogs. Only a few pages do earn money so it's kind of statistical game for me. The best are from niches.

Just keep writing informative stuff about what you know...or are interested in researching. I am pretty new and dont make as much as many do..but I will be getting a check from adsense soon for 150.00!!! and I am averaging about 45.00 a month now.
The more blogs and visits you have the more likely you will make money.
And since it isn't money that you can figure into your budget consider investing it in some way so that it makes you even more.

      hey Lizzie,

I don't know if you are aware, but Google is in the process of reducing page ranks for people who blog and do pay per post. Someone suggested removing all references to pay per post on blogs. I mention this because I saw a mention on the link you left here.

I think they have already done it! Fortunately my blog never had any PR so it didn't change!  I will probably drop the PPP ads next year (once Ive been paid for them all) - I believe google is ok with paid links so long as you have the no-follow tag on them  - I can' t see that they would actually search for PPP text strings or similar - that will affect someone advising NOT to do PPP!

Make great hubs and they will come. You will start earning money through Google adsense. Put relevant Amazon and Ebay stuff on your pages and will earn some money through them to. Hubpages is a nice earner.

    Thanks guys, what is PPP

I have added google and amazon,

I noticed I had 49 impressions in google but no money.  ??

Eillen you earn money when people click on the ads. (You should never click the ads yourself) Check out my tips on adsense to prevent getting banned.
    http://www.bloggerdollar.com/2007/10/25 … m-adsense/

You should expect 1 click for every 100 impressions or so. So you should try to increase your traffic. You should check for social networking services if you haven't used them before.

Earning money isn't easy but once you get the idea it will be a lot easier. (It's my first month and I haven't done much yet either) I wish all success.

PPP = pay per post .  The company is the payperpost.com and they will pay about $5 for a post on a certain subject complete with required links - if you go to my blog as above and check the lat month or so you will see some obvious sponsored links.  As  Isaid  Icant recommend it because its a catch 22 situation - you loose your page rank - which only seems to matter to advertisers and then you cant get decent paying ops to blog about!

HubPages isn't going to let you embed items in Hubs using HTML anyway.  That's beyond the scope of what they allow.
