When ignorants are debating, keep your mouth shut.

      Advice I never follow.
I should follow it here in the forums, but I think it will take all the fun  out of it lol

Never give up on your dreams! -always told by my family, friends, and hubby

Just got some good advice from a fellow hubber though he left. Scott just told me to use a trick he learned called imaginative building. It's where you talk about the life you want as if you already have it like for me saying that I am an author...because he said that your brain actually responds to your voice above all other sounds. smile I'm going to try that from now on. smile

I have been given too much good advice over the course of my life, to pin-point any singular string.

It's a matter for only me to discern truth and move forward. Thus, I'm not walking with blinders, nor can I be manipuated or influenced by lies or dishonesty from those who choose to harm me.

    Thank you. Great question. smile

"There's always a reason not to do something."

The point being, don't listen to your own excuses and just dive in to your dreams. My best friend actually gave me this advice when we were only 16.

If you can do something about it, why worry? If you can't do anything about it, why worry?

    Honesty is the best policy.
Had to write this out 100 times when in primary school - can't remember what for, exactly, but I've never forgotten it.
And, you know, it is right.
