   I joined a few days ago, and I was wondering if you had any tips on attracting followers and developing a network.

   The best Hubbers are the ones who take part in the community, and not just come and leave. Getting to know people helps build your network by getting the ball spinning on Google. (Hubbers read your pages, then the engine scores your article higher.) Any niche can be effective here at hubpages. Read, comment, and take part in forums and the rest will fill itself in!

      VEry true...One must take part in the community and follow the rules of the hubpages.. you will definaltely make a mark for sure! Always be honest and create hubs that takes away hubber's breathe lol!! Good luck!

   My advice, in no particular order:
   
   Keep writing quality hubs no matter what
   Visit and comment on others' hubs
   Participate courteously and respectfully in the forums
   Participate in the weekly HubMob when you can (it's great at boosting readership)
   Participate in the 30 Day HubChallenge when you're ready to kick things up a notch
   Become a follower of people you admire for their writing skills, personality, etc.  Don't just follow anyone, be sincere.
   Give it all time.  Don't try to hurry it along.  It will happen.
   
   That's about it.

   The best advice I can give you is to become my fan/follower. kidding there.
   
   On a serious note, follow what KCC has said above.
   
   I will suggest you to write quality hubs, read and comment on others' hubs, participate in forums, answer to questions in the "Answers" tab above and also try to answer the queries here on forums.
