My hub is no longer appearing in google.

   I hope this is in the right forum.  I am trying to figure out what went wrong with my hub. The second day I was on the first page of google.  I realized that I hadn't put the right title, I meant to change it before I published it and had forgot.  so I went back and change the title. I have done this before with other hubs and there was no problem.
   
   For the last couple of days the only way to find my hub was to type the entire title in google.  It would come up under Hub Pages, the title was appearing but the link was missing.
   
   So the only way to get to it was to click on HubPages then find my article where the link was working.  Today I can't even find my hub anywhere.
   
   I would appreciate any help.  The name of my hub is..

   Well, googling your name you are right on the front page, with hubpages being your second link, if that is your facebook on top. A click on your name brings up your profile page. I would think that is good.

   yes, that is a good thing. but not if your searching for the bulb show or spring bulbs.

      It looks as though there is a lot of competition with that title, what was the original title.
      Putting in Spring bulb Show, Photographers I got this.

   Faybe Bay - the title that I wrote is the original title. I panicked and changed it back to the original name that I had it in the first place.
   
   Anyways, I was hoping that Maddie would come by and have something to offer.

   I had a hub on first page for a competitive term and it suddenly disappeared from Google. But after a few days it was back. I believe yours will be back if you haven't made some big changes in the title, but that's my opinion only.

   Type this into Google:
   
   keyword(s) site:hubpages.com
   
   Google will create a subset of pages from those on hubpages prior to running the exact same algo it would normally run. The first two results are the only ones that will be included in the main Google results. Google’s host crowding filter will hide the others.
   
   If your page is out with the first two results then consider link building around the term you want to rank for. Normally when a page disappears completely in this way it comes down to host crowding.
   
   Let me know if this is the case on this occasion.

      Peter - I'm not sure I totally understand your answer.  You probably are very clear in writing.  I just have difficulty understandin.  When I did what you said.  Approx. 5th. from the top of the search was G mail Hub Pages (this was a workable link) underneath that I guess is a sub page title which was the title of my page but the link is not working.  The only way to actually get to the link is to click on Hub Pages and go to their page where the link is working.
      
      I think this is what you said, However, I am confused as to why it went from front page to this.  I was concerned that it may have done something with me changing the title or putting links out in Xoomba or other places.
      
      Also when you submit you links to other sites.  Is it o.k. to give it a different title.  This is another thing, that I did that maybe wrong. Thanks for you help it is greatly appreciated!

   Peter is right about backlinks, try these keywords while backlinking.
   
   "Annual Smith College Bulb Show"
   
   and some with
   
   "Annual Smith College Bulb Show 2010"
   
   
   
   as per google's recent SEO report card, more descriptive titles the better but try to keep it around the title of your hub.
   
   Get some links from social media sites.

      skyfire-thanks for your answer, when I do what you said to do I pretty much get the same results.  Only this time it came up further in the search. with the 2010 at the end it came up on top but still their is no link with my page.

      I have joined several social media sites and have changed the title to these hubs somewhat, like this one I may have shortened to smith college bulb show in xoomba.
      
      In fact this xoomba hub was also up in the first 5 listings in google and is also gone.  But I'm glad you clarified that it was o.k. to change your name when submitting links. Cause I was beginning to think I had made a huge area.  I submit to several locations and change the name slightly.

   Your problem is because you are in a competitive key word area, you will either need to find some long tail keywords, or work on your SEO to beat the cometition!

    How many spammy affiliate sites can you post links to in one short thread? I reckon MyWebs deserves some kind of award. Also I wouldn't be surprised if MYwebs and Faye were the same person.

       1) I have no personal interest in Paul Hoggan's SEO course. I agree with much of what he says so I recommend his course. He has put much effort into helping out his fellow hubbers, is unlikely to profit at all from these hubs, yet he still created them so YOU and others could learn from them! Now IF I had of included a URL tracker to Paul's SEO course then yes it would be considered an affiliate link, but I clearly did not!
       
       2) The Google Knol I mentioned I do not own so I do not get any sort of advertising from that. And if you doubt this just look up " Anthony Goodley " on Knol, I am a verified person on there! This means Google has verified this is me and my real name. Same name is listed on my HP profile page. I have contributed many items in the list there because I find it useful to have one web page with everything SEO related I could possibly need and I'm sure others find it useful too.
       
       3) I have been here a bit more than 2 months and I can assure you this is the only account I have so far. I have done very well in my short time here and have no reason to split up my efforts. Although I may in the future to focus one profile on one niche.
       
       4) Funny you should mention awards:  I have won one award two weeks ago, a Hubnuggets award and I was nominated once again this week for another! 
       
       5) Maybe you should win an award for the most baseless accusation of the week.
       
       But feel free to Flag my posts as spam and let staff decide. LOL

       It's not spam to help out a hubber and direct him/her to a useful site, so long as you're not promoting your own stuff, as far as I understand the TOS. 
       
       It's not like any of us who are trying to be helpful are "getting something" in return.   No money.  No clicks.  Nothing.  Just free help.
