I'll tell ya why....'cause moses, alledgedly created the father of this jesus in the first 4 words of the OT: "In the beginning,god..."
See, if moses hadn't done that (created this god thing), this jesus fellow could never have been born to a "virgin" lady.
Now ya know how important moses is!

It was Jesus Christ whom Moses spoke to.  Jesus Christ was Jehovah in the Old Testament.  Jesus Christ fulfilled the Mosaic Law.  All proper sacrifice was in similitude of the One who would come and fulfill the Law with His own flesh and blood.

Without Moses, the tribes of Israel would not have known their place in the great plan and tapestry of the human family.  It was essential for them to leave Egypt.  That plan continues to unfold today.

That's right - the question is meant to be

"What is the importance of noses in religion?"

Noses actually are proscribed by the main religions, some even insist they are covered by veils, others insist that they are left firmly stuck up any ass above them on the ladder. The book says "God nose all" so all noses are for god and not for man to no.

On a day to day basis not an awful lot as the mosaic law was given to Israel until Jesus Christ who fullfilled the law. As we live in obedience to Him, we fullfill the spirit of the law.

He is however an example to us of someone who was commited to God no matter what life or the rebellions of Israel threw at him.

The most important thing that goes un noticed is that Moses's Mom could have and probably did sit on the lap of Noah if you believe the time references recorded in the bible.
The stories he told were "only" second handed.

Moses was chosen to lead the people of God out of bondage to aland of freedom. No one else was chosen to do such a task.

I agree that the point you make is the most important of all of the stories.
The fact as recorded in scripture that usualy goes un noticed is that Moses came into the world as Noah was leaving. And the stories as written by Moses were not generation after generation after generation etc. etc. as most people would think.

Moses was a great gatherer of people, and was designated the head of the escaping jewish slaves, because he heard Jehovah speak, that is supposed to be an example of a wise man acting on his faith to save others from the great oppressors. (meant to suggest how God acts upon man for man's sake)
