I assume I just add my adsense pub ID?

do I need to set up a channel for this new HP account? how do I do that? how about anaglytics? help!

Add your google analytics id in the affiliate link, if you have otherwise sign up big_smile

Yo Jerrico, I'd set up a channel for your second hubpages account, its not that hard and it'll help you out no end in the long run. Just got to adsense setup and then channels, and follow the steps.

It won't let me just plug in my adsense code it it trying to force me to sign up, but since my adsense email address/google is not the same as my hubpages account one it won't go, but you can't use a hubpages email address thats being used by another account... I'm thoroughly confused at this point...

No need to be the same email address for adsense and HP, after you enter the pub id into affiliate settings you will be receiving the mail from adsense team after one or two days big_smile

I've had an account with hubpages for a year and have been using adsense code in it, I want to plug my code into this new account but it won't let me click into the box, the only thing that works there is the sign up link,, I don't need to sign up I just want to plug in my pub code...

login as the new ID, go to the affiliate setting on your my account tab add you existing analytics and adsense codes there - it has nothing to do with email addresses! If you want to track them separately go to analtyces and add your new profile page as a chaneel, go to Adsense and add your new hubs urls for tracking

Lissie, I'm not a newbie- I did do that verbatim, however as this is how it should work, the box where one would just click into and past the adsense code it is not letting my cursor in.. the analytics one did, and the kontera does, all the rest do but the Google/adsense box is greyed and I have to click the "sign up" box at which point it asks me if I have an account, which I do, then it wants me to put the adsense email account in there and when I do that it says unt uh that email is already used.... this isn't rocket science I know but its simply not letting me insert the code.. this should have been a 2 second operation...

p/s/ but thank you for offering suggestions none the less wink

I had many problems with analytics until August when I decided to redo it all over again.  On my end I think analytics was just acting wonky because the first few times I followed all the steps precisely, but when I took a break and tried it again in August it worked.  I love analytics because it shows some of the truly funny search items that bring people to hubs.

Oh, yes, if it's not a hardware problem, and it's not a software problem, then you've narrowed it down to the wetware ...
