They are letting me move to another desk at work. It's a bit more public but I escape the constant draft hitting the back of my neck. Also, no one will be sitting directly behind me.

Sweet UW! Glad no more draft on ya..brrrr...that would make me complain a lot lol I get cold very easily

Well, right now I'm under a vent that blows cold air and it will be worse in the summer. The person behind me also has a fan on constantly that does not help. Anyway, looking forward to it. Hopefully, it will happen tomorrow.

    Aww shucks guys big_smile
With all the negativity swirling around just now I appreciate them smile

Not much new on the job poo-poo stuff tongue roll
I am on pause just now, tho my secondary job to this 'issue' has advised I get a therapist! yikes
Called my doctors today to see what they can do (want to be seen as complying just in case) and the receptionist needed a few details to help me and almost immediately said, well thats what happens when your honest in this world (with a certain sympathy for me in her tone). I almost hope the doc calls them after meeting with me to tell them that they should piss off and that they are a bunch of wankers! Would the be a professional thing to do? hmm lol
Ahhh I can daydream anyway lol

It does seem a waste of time and resources that could be better given to someone who actually needs it but I don't want to be seen as obstinate or some other nonsense! roll

I guess that is what gives a person integrity smile
Being willing to do what they feel to be right when it is hard.
It is easy to do the right things when its easy but the true mark of integrity is doing the right thing when its hard and unpopular big_smile

That really would make my day! big_smile

Thing is my boss there got all personal in her feelings toward me (saying she is disappointed in me, blah blah blah, whatever! Why do I care?! You have no integrity or sense of responsibility for your employees and dismiss any safety issue we raise, talk to me when you get some integrity! I mean I know I am totally nuts! But in a good way wink like I actually think I can make money online self employed style and don't live my life in fear of what other people think of me which is obviously a sign of total insanity!

I figure if things come to the worse and I am dismissed from the school I will at that point write up a press release regarding this incident. I recently saw a documentary about discrimination (regarding religion) in this country and a story about a woman who was dismissed from a primary school for saying she would pray for a sick child when the parents called to complain! Can you imagine?!?! My Goodness but what a load of B*llsh*t!!! I am not religious and am unsure about prayer but at the end of the day if you wanna pray for me for good health and happiness and all that BRING IT ON! Crikey but this is one messed up world!

  7. kirstenblog profile image77

I feel awful!  I have recovered my negativity - and also somebody else's - I have no freekin idea whose -  I just grabbed whatever I could!  I'm sort of jerking and shaking as I sit here at the keyboard -  so freekin bored - nobody understands me - I am so misunderstood, underused, and well, ignored, basically.

I am listening to the Talking Heads and it is uncanny how we reflect each other :  quest que ce!  fafafafafa  PsychoKiller!

ahhh, pure relaxation FINALLY!  no more pesky conversations about my fatuous hubs!  no more empty compliments!

Not my negativity I hope! And sorry your so bored, mega. that is one of the worse feelings in the world I swear!

        1. mega1 profile image80
mega1posted 15 years agoin reply to this

I exaggerate.  sometimes I am NEVER bored.

and yes, I think it was your negativity, some of it - it feels kind of like mixture of you and some others and my own.

I may get used to it and actually start liking it!  or licking it!  either one.

negativity is not so bad as long as you don't feed it.  but anyhow, so, yeah!

          um.

  14. profile image0
    Crazdwriterposted 15 years ago

Licking it? yikes I don't know if you would want to do that..might leave one of thise really nasty tastes in your mouth kind of like licking those nasty envelopes.

    1. mega1 profile image80
mega1posted 15 years agoin reply to this

you have to lick it!  in order to subdue it!

      subdued negativity is very useful

  15. mega1 profile image80
    mega1posted 15 years ago

negativity is a kitten - miaowing at the door
    wanting to be let out!

we must give it just the right amount of attention
    and a litter box

    otherwise it becomes ferocious
    like a lion

    and will eat us up

    as we sleep!

One of the top things my mother always taught me about adversity is to, "kill'em with kindness."  If you are being scoffed or taunted or are being made fun of or belittled - return it tenfold with kindness.  I've strived to do this in my life and when it comes to my own imperfections I magnify them through a jovial nature in order to bring about the uplifting of another.  I love brightening someone's day! smile I've always found that the more I bring out those imperfections the more they go unnoticed.

I've only one problem though.  Are they going to charge me extra for "carry on" luggage (my nose)?  Now come on, that's got to earn me even a little snicker...smile
