    Hey everyone!

I'm writing a hub about interlinking your own hubs, and I'm banging my head against a proverbial wall!

I'm positive I read a hub about why interlinking your hubs is a good idea, and now I can't find it mad

I think it was written by Mark or sunforged, but I may be wrong. FYI, it's not the one sunforged did about link wheels, though (that was a great hub, but it's more involved than the one I remember).

The hub in question explained the benefits of adding links to your other hubs and how it's like "internal backlinking", or something to that effect. I want to "fact check" myself against this hub before I publish mine, and maybe even link right to it from my new hub...

I'm pretty sure it was written by a well-known hubber, so I'm guessing someone else read it and had the sense to bookmark it (unlike me!)

If this jogs anyone's memory, please help! If not I'll just plow ahead without it...

    Thanks big_smile

I know what you're talking about, but I can't remember the name of the hubber either.  Still, it was a good hub.

There's a lot of reasons for interlinking your hubs.  It definitly does help with your backlinks.  I don't know how to explain it exactly, but I know on the hubs that I've done it I've gotten a lot more visitors than normal.

Also, if someone finds your article then the link provides them a quick and easy way to check out other articles that you've wrote.

Either way, it is a good idea!

If it helps, I didnt write it wink

But I did reference one (in the 60dc intro hub) by Paul Edmondson that sounds similar - it was about why one should write in groups but it also talked about an interlinking strategy

Writing in related themes section I believe:

That isn't the one, but it has sufficient info to verify what I wrote!

And FYI, you gave me a link to your hub that has a link to Paul's hub, but I managed to find it!

This one will do the trick, so nobody else needs to go out of their way to find another!

      Let this thread die cool

I keep my hubs (and sites)in a "clippings" option, I can just right click and paste when necessary ..I dont do that for Pauls hubs, smile

It may have been Nelle's, I know she does a lot of interlinking.

She ended up unpublishing the Hub because she was so swamped with people expecting her to mentor them.

I think it could be 'Project Back Link' which is a hub written by HubPages Staff - the logo on it is the old HubPages one. I will just check it out again to see if I can give you any more info on it.

    Update: it is

Project BackLink that I was thinking of by Hubpages (staff) on HubPages.

That is the only one I can recall although I think I may have read one on that topic by Darkside in the past; not sure about that.

Sorry just realised you do not want any more suggestions on this.
