         Most religions, ancient and modern, have creation myths and some have timelines - but the the word myth and theory says it all.  The age of the earth is a matter of science, religions can only have stories and opinions on how old our world is.

                  even if you ciphen and filter the very last drop of human epistemological serum, it wouldn't persuade you to consider something outside conscious a priori. Both sides are responsible for the ignoring and the ignorance -which perhaps is the only infallible proof.                      That's not proof!  Yes, you do have my depraved mould on your hammer, but mould is prolific and will survive. 
                     
                     I try to learn from religion and those who espouse it.  But according to them their God gave me logic and common sense.  These talents have always served me well in everything but belief in superstition. 
                     
                     So I suppose I am predestined to go to a terrifying hell.  Hell, in my own particular case, would probably be spending eternity in heaven with the believers on these forums!  LOL

                        Well good luck with that. In the meantime or maritime, try not to step on your own tail. Both elements cannot justify themselves nor prove their position by thorough logic with or without sensation.
                        
                        Any religionist and/or scientist, who was unsatisfied by that doctrine, can only mock and ridicule for their own pleasure to justify a lacking truth they never found using those systems.

   or  as Tantrum said no beginning and no end.?
   
   And the Genesic acount could be right.  It does not say that those seven days were consecutive. On the first day the earth was created, (posibly by a big bang) and millions of years later; after the earth cooled off "GOD"  came back on a second day.  How many ways are there to describe one event?
      Nobody knows?

    Einstein actually believe the universe was static, at least to some degree. The age of the earth wasn't something he really got into, he was pretty old when that topic was in its peak.

       No he didn't. Einstein believed the Earth was expanding (and will continue to expand because of insufficient Gravity) which he discovered when he applied TGR to the whole Universe.
