Updated on November 17, 2013

On this page we are going to be taking a look at the new Clawdia Wolf doll from Monster High. We will tell you all about this new Clawdia Wolf character and then take a look at the actual doll. We will also review release date and prices and where you can get your hands on this new character. If you are a fan of Monster High and like to get all the latest news, then this page will tell you everything you need to know about Clawdia Wolf and some other new characters we are going to be seeing in 2014.

Monster High is one of the most popular lines of dolls there has ever been. The dolls are based on a TV show that plays out every week on the internet and there are also TV specials that come on. Mattel are the toy company who make these dolls and they could not have imagined just how popular these dolls would become. As Monster High goes from strength to strength we are continually bombarded with new characters, new dolls and new merchandise. One of the latest characters that has been revealed is Clawdia Wolf, so let’s have a look at her.

Clawdia Wolf

The All New Clawdia Wolf Doll

The first we heard of a new Clawdia doll was at the San Diego Comic Con. Every year they preview new dolls here and this year there were some excellent releases. Clawdia Wolf was something of a surprise as there were a few other characters that we were expecting to see, but Clawdia came a little out of the blue. As you would probably assume, Clawdia is related to Clawdeen Wolf, in fact she is her older sister. So that means we now have Clawdeen, Howleen, Clawd and Clawdia all in the same family. As with her other siblings, she is the daughter of a werewolf, so she comes with little fangs.

There is no news on whether or not Clawdia has a pet yet, but we will update our page if we find out she has. The actual Clawdia Wolf doll looks like being a really nice one. She is a little bit taller than her younger sisters which is probably due to her being a little bit older. She comes with curly blonde hair, golden eyes, stylish glasses and wearing a red/pink jacket. She looks very sophisticated and stylish and no doubt has a personality to match.

As for a release date for the Clawdia Wolf doll, we are told she will be coming out in the spring of 2014. So this probably means the release date will fall around March sometime, possibly with the Frights, Camera, Action special that is coming out around that time. We assume she will be sold as a separate doll, nothing about her being in a twin pack or anything like that. As is usually the case you will no doubt get a diary, hair brush and doll stand with the doll. The price is likely to be fairly average for a Monster High doll.

More New Monster High Dolls For 2014

As well as the new Clawdia Wolf doll for 2014 there are also some other new characters and dolls coming out. Again, many of these were actually previewed at Comic Con. The most interesting of the new releases is probably Honey Swamp. She is the daughter of a swamp monster and is being released with the Frights, Camera, Action range of dolls, so she will probably have the same release date as Clawdia. The great things about Honey is her fantastic hair, she has a big green afro which really does look as though she has just come out the swamp. She also has pale green skin which looks really good. This is a doll that really went down well with fans at SDCC so we are expecting her to be very popular on release.

Another new character previewed at Comic Con was Jane Boolittle. She is also expected to be coming out early in 2014 although there are reports that she is turning up in stores late 2013. Jane looks like being some kind of witch doctor although at the moment not that much is known about her. We think she has a sloth as a pet and her name is most likely a play on the name Dc. Doolittle. This has lead to speculation that she could be some kind of animal witch doctor which would be interesting. Boolittle has bright green eyes and dark hair with orange highlights in it. She may not be as striking as Honey but she does still look like being a nice addition to the ghouls at Monster High.

Jane Boolittle

One thing that we have never had that many of is boy dolls. Well in 2014 there is a new one being released, this is going to be Slo Mo. He comes from the range of Ghoul Spirit dolls, he wears a team Monster High top and is waving a school flag. He looks really good and has a brilliant dopey expression on his face which sums up his character very well.

Along with the new dolls that have been confirmed and previewed there are other ones that we are expecting for 2014. Elissabat is one that has now been confirmed, she is a vampire bat and we are assuming she is some relation to Draculaura. She has cute little fangs and purple hair. We have also heard we should be getting a Viperine Gorgon who would be the sister of Deuce Gorgon and no doubt have something to do with snakes or lizards. This has the potential to be a very interesting character and doll and from the looks of her bright pink hair she will be a very popular addition to the Monster High dolls.

As 2014 approaches we will no doubt hear news of other news dolls that are coming out from Monster High. The new Clawdia Wolf doll is sure to be a big hit and people who collect the dolls will certainly want to complete their Wolf family. Mattel are keen to keep bringing out more and more new characters and goodies to keep fans hooked on the show. If you are a fan of Monster High then there really is going to be plenty to keep you occupied in the coming months and years.
