How do you get motivated to get out and do something?
How do you get motivated to start a new project? Find something to draw, start working out, learn something new, meet or talk to new people, or just get going in the morning? Do you have a ritual, a quote, picture, friend, journal, or inspiration?
I like to make lists. To-do lists are my favorite. Most often they are daily lists. Knowing what I want to accomplish is a great way to get me going. Each checked off item is like sweet victory.
I sometimes make goal lists that help me see where I want to be in the future. These are very motivating to me. I mean, there it is right out on paper - who I want to be. I don't want to be disappointed about who I am or what I've done in life, so I'm motivated by the list.
Hi , I love & appreciate life , . I also see a glass as half full instead of half empty ... that give's me motivation in most everything I do ....
My inspiration to get up and get on with it is the fact that although im in pain most days I AM ALIVE , I WOKE UP TODAY !! and that is all that matters..get out and enjoy life there are many who do not have the privilage of sight ,hearing or mobility ....that is inspiration enough for me
I listen to music. Usually I can find some time of music that makes my adrenaline start pumping.
I basically think of all the benefits to be gained by getting the project done and block out all the negative thoughts that will allow me to make excuses not to do something.
