    What motivates you?

I just wrote a hub on motivation; or rather my lack of it. I was wondering if you could share what motivates you the most?

Praise and comfort motivate me.  I thoroughly enjoy praise for my thoughts, and I enjoy comfort.

Though money is not my primary motivator, the fact that money can possibly be made on this site has made me better at what I do here.

Different things for different activities I suppose.

What motivates me to drag my wretched corpse out of bed each morning at the moment is the need to find work and earn money in order to at least maintain the bottom rung of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, then preferably go up a few.

It's not a noble answer, but sometimes I take my motivation from less obvious emotions - often, I'm motivated to write a hubpage on a particular topic because I read an article somewhere out there on the internet that is a little misleading, and I'm irritated enough to want better information out there for people as a result! smile

Helping others is one of the things I believe motivate me the most, I am also motivated daily just to survive in a community where a good paying job is minimum wage.

Fear!  I am a procrastinator and always work on the fear factor.  I don't get things done until the last moment.

    My goals!

I write them down as I go through it daily. Once I have achieve that goal, I will celebrate. It is the kind of motivation that keeps me going. A great sense of achievement with my targeted goals.

Try it and you will see what I mean. But never set yourself impossible goals.

What motivates me? Desire. Determination usually feeds my desire, optimism supports my determination, and feedback guides me along the quest.

It is hard to answer a question which such a great field of possible fields you need to be motivated for.
It might seem a bit pathetic, but at the moment my motivation in terms of work is driven by the money I receive at the end of the month to pay the bills.
During free time I am always motivated without any great effort – I do what is fun for me.

I seem to find motivation in different forms depending on what my goal is. For fitness and health. I use a vision board along with clear written goals. When I write it down, I feel compelled to try to achieve it. I dont wan't to let myself down.

Motivation is something that tells you if you are really doing what you want.  The more you want something the more you will try to get it by any means.  This equals more effort on your part which came from within yourself.

    What motivates me?  Expression!

I'm motivated by one simple thing - freedom..

Whenever it's financial freedom, freedom of thinking, speaking or doing whatever I please... I just need freedom.

Life is motivating by itself. Good times, bad times, and everything in between help to shape our lives and what decisions we make in the future.

For me, music and the great outdoors play their parts in motivating and inspiring my daily adventures.

I am driven by the fervent  desire to succeed regardless of the trials I am currently going through now.Sometimes my hatred towards the people that caused my suffering causes me to get up and push forward with the desire to see them fall before me.

I'm motivated by the drive to be better.  I want to know my potential, and I want everyone else to know it too. I'm not too fond of people who just sit and watch life go by without doing anything.  Nobody who was remembered or lived a "great" life lived it that way.

It all depends on the day, depending on what I need and how much I want something. But generally its a lack of motivation that worries me, mainly with regards to work and career but thats because I didn't do what I wanted when I was a bit younger, still time though be you 10 or 100

What motivates me is my 4 kids and my loving husband. The fact that we were teenage parents who have lovingly survived the odds and managed to stay together and raise our beautiful children, makes we realize anything is achievable if you want it to be.

This is a great question!  Sometimes for me it seems so easy to find motivation.  At other times it is a S-T-R-U-G-G-L-E!  But I know that's not helping so far.  Lol.  I'm just giving you some context.

At the end of the day, I have a few things that motivate me ... when I need it.

I look to incredible things that other human beings have done, and just remember them.  Then dwelling on their moment of accomplishment, I push on.

In a larger sense I look towards goals (which I try to break down - sometimes not too well - into bite size actionable chunks).  This helps, but it's not flawless.  I find that the biggest obstacle for me is feeling overwhelmed.  Hence, why it's so important to break my goals into action sized chunks.

I earnestly hope this helps you out.

    Ben

I guess motivation arises on a case to case basis.  There are people who can write well when they are inspired and topics usually falls down under this category.  There are some people who can write also topics about depression when they are depressed.  I guess it relies on the mood of the person and of course wide knowledge and how much do you like a topic can generate positive results.

What motivates me the most is my self-motivation and God.  You may want to involve yourself with something good for you, maybe a group that interests you, family, good friends, or visit a Vet - they can certainly inspire and make you thankful for having what you have. There are so many great ways to spend your time, wasting what you have to offer is not one.

Optimist solutions that can greatly help your cause. Usually doing something different like exercising or dieting for a change could affect your mood.

Knowing you begun that grow taller diet plan voluntarily and assuming you did start it.

What would you do to make it different?
How could it be better then it already is?
Or is it any good at all?

Those are the kinds of questions that motivate me. I believe you can find answers within yourself. The only real reason you can't seem to motivate yourself is if you slack off and watch t.v or do nothing constructive.

There are different things that motivate me for different things, true love keeps me motivated while dating, (chemistry) in hopes to find it. Money keeps me motivated so I can shop and travel and do things I enjoy. When I become unmotivated that means im falling into a slump and I pull myself out by doing things that make me happy, going to the gym, taking photos of nature, listening to music, getting out and mingling with friends over a nice cold beer.

Life motivates me. Whether it gives me good, bad or hard times, I believe I get what I need from it - as opposed to what I want. It is often difficult to keep it up, but then I remember that if I make the effort, it will become easier in a few days.
Hope it helped a little... good luch wink
