What is pure ecstasy according to you?
It is a mental or physical phenomena for you?
Absolutely a mental phenomena for me.. it happened many times in my life..I got ecstatic when my husband had proposed marriage 13 years back; When my baby was born; whenever my child stands on the victory stand on his Sport's Day; When he hits a sixer while playing a cricket match; all bring ecstasy.. I love to take joy out of simple things in life.. I do not dance with joy, but i do get emotionally overwhelmed..
what about you?
Going to a lake for the first time where I have been told there are huge fish and knowing that I am going to catch a big one, with each cast I make. To catch the fish is climactic and yet, not the greatest pleasure enjoyed. The chance, or luck, to catch a big fish, is in the ecstasy of it all. This has been a part of my life from age six to now. Nice to know some things never change.
It could be either. Though I imagine that it would be hard to experiece mental 'ecstasy' without it making the body pretty excited, and vice versa. So for me, pure ecstasy would be both a physical and mental phenomena. It could also be defined as a dance drug that has not been cut with anything!
The impact of positive thought is one of the signs of happiness. Doing something good to others is a great job and you feel yourself best of others. The thinking of goodness is a result of your mental ability to be positive every time.. When a person's mind is free from all other materialistic things, he always looks happy and feels himself in a state of very great happiness.
Mental, definitely. I think that serenity and contentment lead to ecstasy.
I believe it all roots back to excitement, when we allow ourselves to become susceptible to our own feelings and get worked up about something.
Often we all suppress our emotions because of the 'too good to be true' factor, who hasn't had their heart flutter while scratching their first lottery ticket or being with their first lover.
but during those moments where we release our inhibitions and let the situation take us for a ride.
Ecstasy is allowing life to surprise you and fill your heart with love; it is holding your baby for the first time with insurmountable hope and fear.
Ecstasy is a sign your alive, feel it, live it.
While you can.

Bliss is a temporary state experienced by someone who has gone to the depths of meditation..it is both, and as such, like everything else, can be a trap...
The desire to experience it again...
Pure ecstasy for me is an absolute mental phenomina, that in its extreme conditions is opened up to view through our physical expressions, or better say, our deeds/behaviour define the degree of ecstacy we live in.... pure ecstacy keeps one away from physical lust/desires, Its a pure feeling!.....As deep we get into ecstasy so much we go away of the physical/materialistic world...Spirituality (not the showy way) makes one feel pure ecstacy...sometimes people relate it to the state in trans..thats not true. In trans you have no control on your senses, but in ecstacy its different..We can feel ecstacy without losing our senses, rather we have better control on our senses in the state of pure ecstacy... that in other words may be termed as 'Positivity'.
