I regret to say that, today, I had a breakfast meeting, a midmorning forum, a church service, a lunch with friends, and a reception and then dinner party coming up soon. Heavy eating of food prepared by others, sedentary time, no exercise to speak of. It's not the healthiest of days. I'll try to make it up tomorrow with a predawn walk and an hour of gym work.
Just walked the four mile swamp trail at the county park..Still a bit of color in the remaining leaves but also some storm damage.
Several things come to mind when thinking about this question. First I eat smaller portions, Then, I choose to walk up and down stairs rather than take the elevator. Also, of course I take herbs instead of antibiotics. I prefer natural food sources for health.
That's really great ways to stay active.
Today, I ate healthy foods: apple, rice noodles, shrimp and vegetables, walnuts, soy milk, and grapefruit. I also did some dancing and calisthenics.
Healty eating is what we need to to help our bodies.
I walk my cat everyday for about half an hour. My husband also just bought me a bike so we're going to ride together, which I'm excited about. I'm also going kayaking for my birthday. Basically, I can almost never make myself go to the gym but having fun with company (while incidentally getting exercise) is much better. Here are some other ideas: http://lauraverderber.hubpages.com/hub/ … n-Exercise
Well I still play ice hockey (old timers) every weekend, morning walk with our dogs on our trails near where we reside and believe it or not our church service has a bunch of ups and downs throughout the Mass...
I walk every chance I get, I try to take stairs instead of an elevator or escalator. I just started rock climbing and have been going three times a week to work my upper body.
My favourite exercise is doing circus aerials, like trapeze and aerial silks. I loved it so much, I worked really hard and joined a circus! But beginner classes are fun and challenging and FANTASTIC exercise.
I also stretch every day, some positions I learned from ballet, some from yoga and some from circus acrobatics.
I always start my day with fresh lemon juice and some detox tea. For breakfast, we had eggs and some homemade Ezekiel bread. For lunch, we had a vegan protein shake. I did a high intensity workout in the afternoon along with daily active mommy stuff. For dinner, we had pesto pasta with ground turkey.
I love to be active and to eat foods that are high in nutrition. I'm passionate about helping others to lead healthy lives and to feel amazing.

How often do you exercise to keep your body fit and healthy?I hardly have enough time to do some exercise because of my kids and duties at home. But I knew, a constant movement like scrubbing the floor, cleaning the whole house will do the tricks.

Is 20 minutes on a stationary bike, every day, enough to lose 2-3lbs a week?I am doing 20 minutes every day on my stationary bike, burning a little over 200 calories. I am also eating better and not eating past 1,500 calories. My goal is to lose 2-3lbs a week and over all drop 30-40 pounds by...
