   Has someone made you happy today? Your children? Partner? A stranger with kind words? Some good news? What one thing has made today a good day for you and the world a better place.

   My husband and children (and of course, God) have made this a good day for me. I have been suffering from extreme allergies for the last 10 days which has put me out from continuing my regular schedule, but I am always thankful for all that I have. Sometimes life seems to be unbearable, but it could be much worse with holding bitterness and grumbling. I would rather look at the positives as it makes life so much happier.    I have a friend who I trust completely. Everyday she tells me how amazing I am. After months of hearing her say this, and rolling my eyes, I have finally seen myself as she sees me. I am forever grateful to her.

   I just watched a video about 8 dogs who were found abandoned and abused (all seperate incidents). It had before pictures (which tore my heart out) but then had the "after being saved and given food and love" pictures and they were all such happy endings. So what made my day today is the love that these animals found in their lives.....

   My family has always been my number one source and reason to be glad everyday. Friends might leave you soon but your family will always stay. I love my family and they always make me feel happy and loved every moment of my life.

   Well one thing that has indeed made me happy today is spending considerable time with my better-half and when I am happy the world is indeed a better place because of my lack of externalizing blame outwardly...    Simply hanging out with my adult son has made today a better day. He's my greatest success in life, and the very best person I know. Perhaps I'm biased (as I should be), but he really is a remarkable young man, and I enjoy every minute we spend together!

    My children are my biggest source of happiness, and pride. They both are very successful, goal oriented, compassionate, and level headed. When they pursue their dreams, and succeed, even when they fail, It gives me great joy, and pride. They reaffirm my belief, that no other "job" in this world is more important, than raising a child.

       Thank you, Anna Haven. I did this pic when they where very young, pastels. A lot has changed since then, but still so very very proud, of all of them.
