    To list ten things, especially if you were attempting to prioritise them in order of importance, the first at the top of the list, would take considerable time and thought.   However, I'd like to list just ONE...and it is at the top of my priority list.  I expect it would help everyone if it were the top of theirs, too.   

    So what is this one thing?

    Make it a life work to know more and more about your own self. " Man (or woman) Know thyself!"    If you take this on as your top priority you will never be bored (no one is more interesting to us than ourselves) 
    You would continue to learn the most important things in the world and what life is all about as you progressed deeper and deeper into this self-knowledge.   
    You would contribute more and more to others and thereby find every increasing satisfaction.   
    You would gradually shed the ego or self-image and become clearer and clearer as to who and what you are.   
    You would find and develop your skills and talents and your real purpose would be gradually revealed to you.   
    You would find within the qualities you've perhaps always admired in others.
    You would gather more and  friends as you improved your character.
    You would develop leadership skills and become looked up to.
    You would work towards knowing as much as you can and thereby self-actualize on your way to the grandest prize of all: Self Realization.

    Have I convinced you?   

    No?   Yes?   Either answer will be correct for you depending upon where you are now.  Well, at least that's the theory.
