Which is best; cod liver or fish oil, do you think, as an Omega 3 to benefit our body's?
I have read cod liver oil may be better and I now take fish oil and have for years and I can tell a difference if I happen to miss a couple days. I want whichever is best though. Thank you for your opinions!
Omega-3 fish oil from the flesh of oily fish are about three times richer in Omega 3 essential fatty acids. In addition to Omega 3, Cod liver oil also contains fat soluble vitamins such as vitamin A and D which are beneficial for bones. I take cod liver oil but alternate with Red Krill oil. People who are taking cod liver oil should be aware of the vitamin content, if they're also taking vitamin supplements they may be taking too much.
Fish oil supplement is probably better if you are not already eating two servings of fish per week. Fish oil, besides having vitamins and Omega 3's, helps protect from contaminants.
I used to take the supplements, now I eat tuna and salmon.

What exactly does Omega 3 Fish Oil, do for your body?People take omega 3 vitamins/fish oil pills everyday now with their multi vitamin supplements. Or a lot of people do anyway. Is there any "downside" to this? What exactly do omega 3's do for your body?

Cod liver oil capsules are rich in vitamin A and vitamin D.It also have high quantity of omega-3 fats which is good for heart.I have read some where that it is also good in the treatment of acne by balancing hormones.It is good for joints and bones.
