Unless you starve yourself I don't think it is possible to loose 10 lbs and keep it off.
If you're obese and your body isn't accustomed to a healthy diet and exercise then it's certainly possible... by incorporating those two things and being consistent.
If you're a normal weight and already live a pretty healthy lifestyle then it's not likely.
Run, run and then run some more after you exercise, exercise and exercise some more. You do not have to necessarily change your eating habits significantly; the key is to exercise quite aerobically...
Try eating nothing but vegetables and fruit. That should help out with that goal.
