I had a 77 Trans Am all black, gold bird on the hood. Gorgeous car!

My other TA was an 81; rare multi-colored bird on the hood; white w/T-tops & loaded!

      Sigh...

I was actually at the gas station one and heard someone giving directions, and in those directions this was mentioned.."Turn down that road, you know, where the Firebird lady is, you can't miss it , then take a right where the road forks off"...

if you call her by her full name, she will pose, that Boxer pose, where they "puff" their big chests out and stand at attention..she is proud of her name, wears it like a crown!

  8. profile image0
    B.C. BOUTIQUEposted 15 years ago

took her forever to grow into them feet! She now is 137 pounds of muscle, she weighs more than me, and thinks she is a big lap dog..the other 5 boxers don't act like her and they live in the kennel since I have house bunnies and 2 cats..but I love them all dearly, bella is just special, She knows it and I think she will be bred this year, if I find a suitable stud for her.

  9. profile image0
    B.C. BOUTIQUEposted 15 years ago

Wilkes is my current last name, AVA ADORE is a beautiful Smashing Pumpkins song, and Isabella is the name of my baby doll I loved and carried everywhere when I was little, my papa E. bought it for me..it is now long gone and lost, but I will never forget that baby doll..

Ava Adore Kennels is also my AKC Breeders name...

I didn't know you could name AKC champs that way-I assumed names were assigned through lineage.

      1. profile image0
B.C. BOUTIQUEposted 15 years agoin reply to this

Generally they are, but if the breeder signs off full naming rights, which they usually do not, I got lucky..you can..
all my dogs carry "WILKES" as the very first name, even my pups I sell..I dont sign them off because my babies, not to brag, come from the best bloodlines , Full german as possible, every one of my dogs is traced back in lineage to WW@ when they first started the breed in germany..
There are 3 different types of boxers, you have American, English , and German..none of mine are anything but full Germans..thats why I have 2 males and 3 females, but Bella has to find a stud because she came from one of my litters from "Big Momma"...I will keep one of her pups if I get the color I want and it is a female..Im hoping for a golden tiger...she is a Flash brindle with a harlequin eye, very rare , and she carries the DNA to produce any color of pup..its just the luck of the draw..and this will be her first litter...I am very funny about my pups, one litter a year oly and I do extensive checking of prospective homes..I take a ist of names when a female gets pregnant and start checking before they are even born..and no female will have a litter 2 years in a row..hard to explain, but I am careful with my pupaloos....I think of their safety first

Thats why I am against mixed breeding and am very thorough before i let anyone buy a pup or one of my daughters "kits" ( baby Lion Head Bunnies ) ..

I have a clause that states i will take back any animal, for any reason , if you feel you can not care for it, no questions asked.

If I hit the lottery, I would take the money and open a no kill shelter and make it like a comfortable home for any animal.

snakes are cool, as long as they are not poisonous and bite...I remember papa teaching us kids how to catch baby green snakes, I guess they were "garder snakes" in a jar when we were little, but we would catch them , watch them, and then release them back to nature the same day.

eeh, a corn snake will not hurt ya, they generaly hang around in barns or "corn cribs" - hence the name , and get rid of rodents that come after the livestock feed.

but there is a poisonous snake that looks just like a corn snake, but the color pattern is reversed, so if you see one in the "wild" do not approach it unless you know for sure you got your colors right and it is a corn snake..and unfortunatly I do not remember how the true saying on the colors go..it was something my grandparents taught me a long time ago

I have said before and I will say it again, the whole world has problems. My family. Insanity runs in the family, but some get it some don't. maybe it is a physical problem, not a mental one and all are misdiagnosed. My sister went to school and studied all her life. She found in every family case a physical injury that was underlying the cause of the mental illness. So if we are all sick and go to chiropractors ar whatever and find the source of the pain we will get better.

B.C. -- I'll take 2 of everything you have! lol lol lol

    This is gonna be great.

Btw, guess where Faybe Bay is from originally? (if I read her hub correctly)

    Ohio! lol

She's one of us Buckeye nuts!

    (Is everybody in Ohio crazy?)

I was saving it for a surprise! big_smile
Yes we Buckeyes are all nuts, that is why some of us had to leave, too many conspiracy theories.

We used to make candy that looked like Buckeyes, and called them "Buckeyes" they were balls of peanut butter dipped in chocolate...

Hey I have to go file a class action lawsuit for Buckeyes everywhere, agaist Reeses for stealing our candy idea!

Then we can take the money and the candy and take over the world!

Who told?  You did...No I didn't, you always blaim me, that's your problem, No it isn't, it's because you never tell anyone.  No you just want everyone to think we are perfect.  What's this shit about being perfect?

Well, well!  Where is everybody? Working? Lord what a bummer...hehe, I've the day off, so just kidding.  Anyhoo,  I just wanted to say that I think this thread or forum or whatever you call it is THE sanest and kindest one I've ever been in.  And mental illness is no easy topic.
I love it when people peep in to comment, too-adds to the mix, you know?  For instance, Rod.  I try to remember that saying often, especially when I'm stressed or manic OR depressed. lol
The original topic of this thread was embarrassment, and with our communicative skills, I think we're overcoming alot of that BS.
      Well, enough of that.
      Love you guys, really.
