    I have never head about this disease either. Your story about the teenage girl having the disease shows how critical it is. I am glad she finally recovered. I feel inclined to learn the message of this article about never pushing yourself physically and mentally beyond the comfort zone. Thank you for your helpful and educative article, Pamela.

    John, Early treatment is very important for survival. It is a serious, but thankfully not too common. Thank you for your comments.

    Rosina, When I read about the young girl I knew I should write about this disease. It is critical, and needs immediate treatment. It is good to know the symptoms even though it is rare. Yes, the message is important. I appreciate your comments.
