I have put out a challenge from an old hub of mine where I talked about being snowed in and just before Christmas. I thought this would be just the perfect time of year to read everyone's memories and no one has to do research; it would be an easy and hopefully enjoyable write. I am not sure anyone ever put out a challenge on something they wrote so long ago but it just seems like a great idea. I would love to read all that are written! It can go past Christmas even since there is still plenty of cold and snow yet to come way past Christmas so there is no Christmas rush on anyone. I have about four interested so far but don't know how I can really reach everyone to let them know about it. Don't want to leave anyone out. I know I can't leave a link here so does anyone have any ideas how to get the word out?
I shared the hub, Jackie.
Here is the link to Jackie's challenge.

Come on, folks, share your favorite winter memories with us. If I can dig out an old story I wrote several years ago and never published, I will join Jackie's challenge and publish it here on HP.
Thanks Phyllis; I can't wait to read it and that will be great if you already have it!!
Hi Jackie,
What a wonderful and fun challenge, especially for this time of year, and it can surely can continue on past Christmas into next year's winter months too! I think everyone surely has some wonderful and unique winter memories of their own to share here.
Stay warm and get that fire burning ...
Hugs
Thanks; I look forward to them, hope there are many.
Was a warm day but right now I would love a fire! Brrr
"Hugs"
I wanted to bump this, to get the word out to encourage others to do a winter memories hub! Thanks again Jackie, that is a great idea, and it was fun to write a hub on that topic and see some of the others.
Here is a link to what to do, or what it is about if anyone wants to know!

Thanks Paula; I hope many will do it; I need to get around and share yours again and some of the others. They were so good and we cannot get too many with a long winter to read them all! lol
Sounds like a fun challenge Jackie. I look forward to reading the stories also.
Maybe you have a winter memory too you want to share? These are easy writes; well, mine was! Would love to hear yours.
I know the hub has to go thru the quality control process, so I was not surprised that it isn't on my profile yet, but then you read it. If I can't see it on my profile page, where do you see it?
I had email notice since I follow you. Maybe you could put my hub link in your hub for your followers in case they want to write one too.
Yes! That is a great idea! I don't know how to do that. lol
How do I do that? (Sorry for my lameness.)
Oh, I am going to read your submission to Jackie's Winter Memories Challenge! It is easy to link, just go to the very bottom of a hub into the gray area at the very bottom and click where it says link to this hub. Then when it comes up, just click on the click and copy it. Go to your hub and click on edit. Then click where you would like to add a link and click link capsule, and it will come up. Then you are able to paste the link in the space provided. To make the box blue box show up to the right of your test in your hub, just click on the right arrow and choose a color of either, blue, gray or white and then save. Thanks for participating in this challenge. I am going to read your Winter Memories hub now.
Hey,(to Sed-me) I just went to your profile and see that you have written a lot that I haven't seen, yet . I'm a follower of you. Why am I not getting notices?
I don't know either.

There are 24 winter memory stories so far from that challenge and I want everyone to have the chance to read those and they are listed there on the challenge hub. A new one just was published on memories in New Zealand by Elsie and they are all very great reading especially this time of year but I...

I am still sort of new here and have a question about traffic sources. When I go to my traffic sources I can see hubpage views, google views, etc, but some hubbers actually show up with their hub page ulr. And some are crazy amount of views. For eg. one hubber has viewed 112 times and I only have...

I'm just coming back after a several year hiatus, and one of the most exciting things that started when I was here was the HubChallenge. Originally, it was 30 hubs in 30 days. Now I see it's changed to either updating your hubs or 30 hubs in 60 days. I tried the original once, and I failed...

Ok, so a few weeks ago I was drinking on a Friday night (like every other night) and decided to have a 30 minute hub writing contest. U know, they have 30 hubs in 30 days, so I figured why not 1 hub in 30 minutes? We got like four hubs done, and another that didn't make it in a half hour, but...

I had a Hub published about two years ago. The score on it was 83 and it received fairly good traffic. I recently edited it to add some additional info and a website for that info. That made two external links related to my research. As soon as I edited the Hub, it went back...
