   Where will you be and what will you do this Christmas Day?
   
   I will be in Bad Kissingen, a town flowing with mineral springs and music. We have just rented an apartment in the town center. Our building is part of the original wall, centuries old, and we look out one window to the cathedral spire. If the cinema is open today, we may watch 'The Hobbit.' It will be in  Deutsch and I won't understand a word, but know the story well and will have Kati by my side to translate. We will talk with our grown sons, one in Germany and the other in California. May your day be all that is truly you. Merry Christmas!

   I'm in Massachusetts. Started off with a quiet morning at home, then a midday Mass, and headed to enjoy the rest of the day with family at my aunt's for dinner.

      Your Christmas day gives a good feeling. My folks had an annual tradition of attending midnight Mass at the Snowmass monastery. It is a warm memory.

   I am spending this Christmas in Vermont, in a wonderful town of Manchester. And we are having White Christmas! My husband has to work, so I will spend my day writing, watching TV, and playing with my dog in the snow!

   Dinner and gift exchange at my oldest daughter's.  We will watch our grandchildren open some gifts and have a wonderful dinner that I did not have to cook!  Both our children and their families will be there.  Also my daughter's in-laws.  It is a wonderful group and I am looking forward to it..
   
   We are in Montana and there is snow every where and falling now.  Merry Christmas Hubbers!

   Enjoyed Christmas with my family in Mansoori (A hill station in India). It was real fun as its -1 degree Celsius here with a lot of snowfall.

   Home, keeping an eye on the weather. My area is under a severe weather watch with heavy rains, thunderstorms, potential for high winds (straight-line or tornadic) that began about 6:00 a.m. and is continuing in waves throughout the day until midnight.  Merry Christmas!

   I am spending Christmas in Florida. After the excitement this morning, we're enjoying a day together, missing my daughter who is visiting her father, and I'm about to start on one of my Christmas traditions - my family history - while waiting for our roast to finish cooking.    I'll stay at home and clean my office. Other than that, the practice of "Christ Mass" has no significance for me, other than participating in a pagan holy day, which I will not do. Peace be with you, Gary, and I hope you enjoy "The Hobbit". :0)

      I felt that way at one time, and refused to have a Christmas tree. As far as the Hobbit, I enjoyed the walk with Kati, our first visit to the theatre, and the popcorn. The movie was a far cry from my memory of listening to the story. Makes a hub!

      So, do you think I would enjoy the movie...not having read the book? Now, I thought Peter Jackson did an outstanding job on the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Does this one follow suit or fall short?

      To me it seemed like watching a video war game on the big screen and a rehash of scenes from the trilogy. I only caught two brief moments with heart, but then it was in Deutsch which I do not understand. If you see it, let me know what you think!

   I'll be in Ventura, California, where the weather is grey and cloudy in between the rains.  I'll be spending my day at work, where I don't particularly want to be, but I had a Christmas of sorts yesterday too.
