    Spending 4th july at home?

Do you spend the whole day at home watching tv or surfing the internet?

Is it better to join the crowd or stay in door on 4th july?

Today I'm spending it at home to read, cleaning, and some computer stuff.  A beautiful day to hang out on the balcony to read and spend time with my cats.

I posted an answer, but do not see it here, so I will try again.  I had family over to my house.  We grilled and ate dinner.  We sat a talked and laughed for several hours.  We then ate coconut cake with vanilla ice-cream for desert.  Later on we went outside to view the spectacular fireworks.  They were in the full spectrum of colors.  Purple, red, white blue, yellow, green, they were totally awesome.  I got out my camera to try and take some pictures of the Fire works, but I could not adjust the settings enough to get a good view.    It is always good to visit with family, it was a perfect day!

I chose to stay at my rented town-home. For my patriotic service, I spent an hour and a half doing Archangel Michael's Rosary for reinforcement of American values (the good ones), cleaning out of old-crone thinking from our government, and protection of our youth. Finishing that hour or so felt really great.
